“Compact, value for money accommodation with good facilities”
+Ease of entry instructions. Useful property information provided. Beds very comfortable. Modern bright bathroom with roomy shower of good pressure. Great use and provision of items made available in a compact space.
−Heater in bathroom did not work. Flooring around toilet slippery and protruding by sink and toilet. Suggestion: 2 dinner plates provided, but no cutlery. Provision of knives, forks and teaspoons would be beneficial. Higher wattage light bulbs needed.

+Bed comfortable, tea and coffee adequate have stayed before but in one of the upper rooms. Good value for money.
−Lighting, I had to sit in the bathroom to read as the lights were so dim. When I arrived there was a used towel hanging on the ironing board. Woken in the night by noises from the room above. Footsteps, water rushing etc.

“A simple stay”
+It was comfy and provided all that we needed with easy parking outside and a pub serving good food just a few doors away.
−When we arrived it smelled a bit musty - we needed to turn on the heating . Could do with a brighter light in the main room and some kind of heating in the bathroom .. also the towels were only just adequate

“Adequate for a couple of nights if you don’t need a comfortable sleep.”
+Cute little space with wooden beamed roof in a lovely location with good parking. Shower pressure was good and WiFi signal very good. Hosts were friendly and quick to respond. Nice local cafe and The Gun pub at the end of the road does excellent food.
−The mattress was unsupportive so was very uncomfortable. The sheets didn’t fit the bed properly and the duvet cover didn’t have a closure at the bottom so kept coming off in the night. Not very clean - someone’s stubble around the edge of the sink, one of the towels was dirty (and they were all tiny) and the bottom edge of the shower was grubby. Damp problem in one corner causing a strong smell, the bathroom door didn’t close (so no chance of a private poop).

“Great stay would definitely book again”
+Really lovely place to stay ,and beautiful area , the price was very reasonable, had all that was required for a couple of nights stay comfy clean bed ,a plug in radiator that very quickly heated the room on my return ,good shower tea making facilities and additional tea /coffee for immediate drinks after a long drive would definitely recommend and if I have work in the area again I would not hesitate to book again , oh yes great communication too ,

“Quiet village location and great for overnight stays”
+I've stayed both here and the "sister accommodation" at Worthing Rest that many times it's hard to review every time! Both are great and have everything you need for a basic room and accommodation. I've stayed in every room now and all are very similar in terms of comfort and facilities. On the odd occasion there wasn't any shower gel or hairdryer in one room, but am sure this is a minor oversight and everything else is absolutely fine. Lucy (the owner) is so lovely and very helpful with my requests as I have had to travel at very short notice due to recent family bereavement, and the regular travel leading up to that. The village has a number of excellent pubs and restaurants, and the cafe over the road is great for breakfast but isn't open on a Sunday. The beds are all very comfortable, and each room has tea/coffee facilities. The area is very quiet which is perfect, and most guests are respectful of this and the neighbouring houses in the quiet village location. The accommodation is ideally located, and has ample parking (I've never had a problem parking) and equally suitable if travelling for work or leisure.
