“Nice hotel for a few days to explore Entebbe & Kampala”
+Rooms comfy & equipped (tv, airco, fan, bathroom). Restaurant across the street linked to hotel. Nice staff.
−Pool is rather small. Didn’t use it. But pool/bar area is nice to sit arou d in and have a drink

“Worked well for a one night airport stopover and airport picked us up from a 3 am flight.”
+A one night stay ahead of a gorilla safari. The hotel staff met us at the airport as arranged. For our purpose the hotel did a good enough job.
−It was relatively basic, no air con but fans provided that were quite loud.

“Fantastic Entebbe Hotel.”
+- Lovely location on the shore of Lake Victoria. - Spacious and very comfortable room. (The bed was super comfortable) - The room had a nice veranda overlooking the pool. - Breakfast included. All meals we had during our stay were delicious. - WiFi was very good. - Staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful and efficient.

“Nice location, but disappointing value for money”
+The hotel has a lovely location directly by the lake. We really enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant, especially as you can sit right by the water. The small pool area is also very nice for relaxing and cooling down, although the pool itself is too small for proper swimming. The included transfer was easy and well organised. Wi-Fi was excellent throughout our stay, and the shower had great water pressure with plenty of hot water. Our Pool View Room also had a nice balcony overlooking the pool area and even offered a partial side view of the lake.
−Unfortunately, the check-in experience was not very welcoming or friendly. We also noticed quite a few dirty areas around the hotel, and some of the renovation work looked rather careless - for example, there was paint left on the balcony floor from painting the railings. The towels had some light yellow stains and did not feel completely clean. The room itself felt a little plain and not particularly cosy, and the bathroom is starting to show its age. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. Overall, we felt that the price was too high for the standard and experience offered. There are definitely some nice aspects to 2 Friends, especially the location, restaurant and lakefront setting, but considering the overall value for money, we would choose a different accommodation in Entebbe next time.

“Beautiful lake view, but overall not worth the price”
+The highlight of this room is definitely the beautiful view over Lake Victoria. The hotel has a lovely location directly by the lake, and we really enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant, where you can sit right by the water. There is also a pleasant little pool area, which is perfect for relaxing and cooling down, although the pool itself is too small for proper swimming. The included transfer was uncomplicated and worked very well. Wi-Fi was excellent, and the shower had great water pressure with plenty of hot water.
−Cleanliness could definitely be improved, as we noticed several dirty corners and areas around the property. We noticed faint yellow stains on some of the towels, which gave the impression that they were not completely fresh. Some of the renovation work also looked rather careless. For example, paint from the balcony railings had been left on the balcony floor. The room felt somewhat basic and not particularly cosy, while the bathroom is clearly getting a little dated. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. For us, the biggest issue was value for money. The lake view is beautiful and there are certainly some nice aspects to the hotel, but overall we found it too expensive for the standard provided. If we return to Entebbe, we would choose a different accommodation next time.
