+Amazing stay! Anish and his family were very welcoming. The food was very good and the location amazing. It’s really nice to be surrounded by nature, yet not too far from the bus stop and main road.

“Pleasant but disappointing for a homestay”
+The room was very clean and had a nice view out across the valley - but not of the tea plantations. Anish was very polite and picked us up from the local bus stop with our bags. The bus stop is a 10min walk and then a 20min bus into Munar. There was filtered water for refilling your bottle. The best thing we did was hike up Chokramudi at sunrise, and the tea plantations in that area are also beautiful. This is a 45min tuk tuk ride away, but it has hotels nearby.
−Anish is very pleasant, but it didn't feel like a homestay, we were never offered even tea/coffee, we had to ask for everything, which made us feel like an inconvenience. Meals felt difficult to get and were never offered. The nearest breakfast option is a 20min uphill walk. No kettle or tea/coffee facilities. For information about the local area, he just told us to go to tourist information in Munnar. We chose to stay here because of the previous reviews of being well looked after and delicious food - but unfortunately it was not the experience we had.
