+I've stayed in a lot of hotels and it is usually the little things that make or break it for me. Just to be clear...this was a very clean hotel with a very reasonable price. Now Oberlin, KS is by no means anywhere anyone would go on vacation. It's mostly hunters that stay in this area and it's perfect for what we are looking for. There is little to no dining options in the town. My biggest complaint would be the fact that the rooms had recently been updated....I could tell this from fresh paint, new carpet, tile, and linens. The door had a hole for a dead bolt, which would have been nice, but it was covered up with duct tape instead. Overall a nice place to stay, just don't plan on having ANYTHING to do unless you are a hunter.

+Just here for the night. Very basic but all we needed was a bed and the bed is comfortable. Could not get the TV to come on, we like to get the evening news before turning in so we do not even know what channels it gets

+Primary concern would be the quality of the door lock. Other than that, we were happy with our stay.

“Find a way to stay here”
+Spotless and friendly. You get far more than you pay for here, and you'll feel good supporting a really friendly host. We drove out of our way and are super glad we did.
