“Don't stay there”
+Nothing apart from it had a bed
−It was a dirty house with no carpets no facilities for tea or coffee no host to greet you only another guest and looked nothing like the pictures or description on the add

“Quirky flat at South ferrybridge”
+Quirky house, spacious bedroom, comfortable bed, warm, shared shower room and kitchen. Owner was away and had a house sitter in residence to look after us and the grey parrot and the cat. Christina was really welcoming and helpful, the parrot was initially allowed out of its cage , which was a bit of a problem , as it was disturbed by our presence and probably missing his owner. However once the parrot was in his cage , it was a lovely place to stay and the parrot also seemed happier and calmer.
−Just as described above, I guess it's not a place to stay if you don't like animals! But it is comfortable and relaxed if you are ok with that. There are 2 rooms to rent , but only one in use when we were there , so only 3 of us sharing the bathroom

“Close to airport and lovely host, what more can you ask for.”
+Excellent location near bars and restaurants as well as only 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport. The host Ann is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed meeting Maisie the African grey parrot.
−All good

“Dissapointing , I even looked for alternative accommodation whilst there.”
+Very old property , steep steps to negotiate, the bathroom was shared and busy .
−Bed was uncomfortable, the wooden floor boards creeked terribly , a noisy parrot . The house us very run down.
