“Heerlijk!”

“Beautiful sunny villa with beach and mountains”
+Huge apartment with comfortable beds. No air con but not needed as stays very cool. The pool was great with a beautiful view over the bay. The staff were very responsive and helpful.
−It was fine for us but you need to have a hire car and be happy driving / walking up steep hills.

+Exceptional apartment! A lot of space, comfortable, cozy, very clean. You will find everything you may need and even more inside, e.g. beach towels or stylish sun hats as a gift. Unlike other homes/apartments we stayed in during this trip to Madeira, this apartment was not super humid inside (maybe because it was on the 1st floor), and it was much warmer despite not the best weather. Having extra heaters was a pleasent bonus. You will enjoy beautiful panoramic view through huge windows.
−There were some troubles with the hot water during our stay, hopefully host will manage to fix them permanently soon.

+Very comfortable and big apartment with really well equipped kitchen. Nice and quiet area surrounded by banana fields . Amazing swimming pool with nice views too. Laundry area well equipped too.
−Only the access was a bit tricky, but doable.

“Great stay”
+Rooms were exceptional and we loved how much space we had. Great to be able to cook in a fully fitted kitchen, and then be able to eat poolside
−No air conditioning in the apartment, and could get very hot. Not secure to leave doors open if away, as there were only sliding doors and no windows
