„Fantastic area, cute and well-appointed but tiny apartment”
+Fantastic location - an incredibly cool area for shopping, cafés, restaurants, strolling. The apartment was tiny but well-equiped. We really enjoyed the common space downstairs,
−We were a bit taken aback that the property wanted to charge an extra 30€ as a damage protection fee (or they wanted to place a €300 hold on our credit card). We had to choose one option in order to be able to check in. I've never seen this at any other properties and found it quite strange. The communication by whatsapp was very friendly and quick. However, it was also a bit much that we were often contacted (also by telephone with a French number we did not recognize) to check in on how were were doing. We felt it to be a bit unusual and overboard! Our aparment was on the 1st floor and we could hear the metro every few minutes quite loudly. Perhaps it is quieter on higher floors.

+The apartment is in a very good location, close to the metro and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and charming cafés. It is located in a beautiful, atmospheric building and is stylishly decorated and well equipped, with both air conditioning and a dishwasher. Another big advantage was the helpful service, the staff responded quickly to the issue we reported and resolved it promptly. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
−The fully online check-in process was quite frustrating. We booked shortly before arriving and were asked to pay the tourist tax online via a link. Having to do this at the last minute while travelling, for example on the metro, was not very convenient. Staff were present when we arrived, but they had no card terminal and did not accept cash. Instead of going straight to our room after the journey, we had to log in to the website and complete the payment online. The property is presented on Booking.com as a four-star hotel, but guests should be aware that it does not appear to correspond to the official French four-star hotel classification. On Booking.com, such property ratings may be displayed using dots rather than official stars. This can be slightly misleading, especially for guests familiar with the hotel industry. ;)

+We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment has two bedrooms, a comfortable living room, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The sofa can also be converted into a bed, which is very convenient. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The location is excellent, with two metro stations within easy walking distance and a supermarket nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here if we have the opportunity to visit Paris again. Highly recommended!
