„Wouldn’t recommend“
+Large room and very friendly, hospitable staff. The fruit at breakfast was fresh.
−Unfortunately the room needed a good clean. I’m not overly fussy but the toilet smelt like urine. The shower hot water tap also dripped into the rubbish bin (I’m assuming that why the bin was placed there). The shower door was broken and unenjoyable. The stay came with complimentary breakfast but no options or variety. The place really needs a thorough clean.

+Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage etwas abseits vom Stadt Lärm Kandys. Dennoch lässt sich alles wunderbar zu Fuß erledigen, indem man den Kandy lake entlang spaziert. Das Zimmer war super groß und sauber und das Personal äußerst freundlich. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Habe sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade erhalten.

„Definitely recommend!“
+We had an amazing stay! Everything was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was exceptional, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The location was great, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making our trip so special,we would definitely love to come back!

+The location was situated close by to the lake, and the other main bits. The hotel staff were very friendly, and they greeted us with a welcome drink. Their card machine was broken to make the payment however they gave us time to go into the centre to withdraw money to pay them later.
−The hotel had a very damp smell. The showers were very tricky to use.

„Sikkert bra i turistsesong, men vi fikk følelsen av at vi ikke var velkomne“
+Personalet var hyggelig, men altfor lite til stede.
−Det var kun vi som bodde på hotellet, og det syntes. På kvelden/natten ble lysene på hotellet slukket og vi var der helt alene. Noe som føltes noe utrygt. I tillegg, så ble det ikke vasket på rommet vårt noen av dagene og da vi spurte om håndkle og dopapir så fikk vi ikke svar. (Vi måtte spørre på melding, siden det sjeldent var noen ansatte på hotellet). Vi måtte også betale i cash, siden kortautomaten tydeligvis ikke fungerte og krevde i tillegg nesten 10 000 lkr mer enn det som sto når vi booket. Kvittering på dette fikk vi heller ikke.

„Location and staff were great! Cleanliness not so much“
+The staff were helpful with letting us know where to go. They kindly upgraded us to the room with a balcony as well.
−We had to pay cash because the system was down. And I think the bigger issue was there were some lice or some sort of jumping bugs on the bed. We were only there for one night so we didn’t fuss about it too much, but we did let the hotel staff know. I’m not sure if he understood what I was saying though.

+Wir hatten ein fantastischer Aufenthalt in Starry Boutique! Vom ersten Moment an war das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wunderschöner Ausblick, leckeres Frühstück und die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

„Schöne Zimmer und Ausblick“
+Die Zimmer und die Aussicht sind sehr schön.
−Es ist nicht so gut aus der Innenstadt zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zurück nimmt man besser ein Tuk-Tuk.
