−For a day and a half the air conditioner didn't work (it was almost 40 degrees) and we had booked a room with air conditioning in advance!! At first the person in charge said that there was a law in Italy that you can't lower the temperature and that we told her that didn't make sense (we had been to Garda before and the air conditioner was at 18 degrees) and asked for a solution like fans to get through the night, but she didn't answer. In the morning she responded and came around noon to check, stood and told us that everything was fine while she was sweating and after talking and checking the other apartments in the building she was convinced and brought professionals who filled the air conditioners with gas and it got better (not as cold as we wanted but at least we could be and sleep normally). In addition, under the bed in the bedroom there was a McDonald's meal carton and other dirt. The location is excellent but the suffering with the air conditioner is not worth it. They refused to refund our money or offset the price for the night that there was no air conditioner (unfortunately, payment was made in advance).

”Exceptionnel”

”Beautiful place to stay in Como city!”
+The host (Daniela) was very friendly and super competent upfront and during our whole stay. We shared our car´s license plate with her before our arrival and she organized an access card from the local authorities so that we were able to drive close to the apartment to unload our luggage. Then she directed us to a safe and clean private parking area for the duration of our stay in Como. (5mins walking distance from the apartment) We spent beautiful days in the romantic city of Como and Daniela kindly shared many helpful recommendations (ferry/restaurants etc.) with us. She really took good care of us and made us feel safe and comfortable. There is even a book full of details available in the apartment which provides possible activities and infos on the area. The apartment is well-located in the city center, very modern and clean and has everything you need. The main entrance to the building is locked with a code and the apartment doors are secured with a heavy door that makes you feel very safe. We chose to stay in the big apartment and enjoyed a very minute of our stay. If you plan to stay in Como city - this is a place we can highly recommend! Thanks again very much to Daniela fo
−Mid-July can be very hot and a bit humid at lake Como. So this season might be challenging for elderly travellers (and for the air condition to cope with the heat. ) :-) No complaints about the apartment.
