”Disappointing and never to be repeated”
+Looks lovely. Nicely decorated. Clean
−The restaurant. The lack of dressing gowns, one pair of slippers for 2 guests. Lack of towels - 2 bath towels, one hand towel which was left for replacement. This wasn’t replaced. Both my husband and I ended up with terrible diarrhoea. As we only ate and drank in the hotel it was obvious where we got it from. Most staff were pleasant but with the exception of on arrival the reception staff were not helpful. It was difficult to get transport organised for the airport and when we eventually managed to do this it cost 300 rupees more than the cab on arrival 3 days earlier. The view from the room was onto slums.

”Good value for money”
+Good safe location , rooms are good size clean hygienic and washrooms are neat . Well maintained rooms , ease of access , on site parking facility
−The AC vents need thorough cleaning , dirty vents lead to stale air in the rooms . Air circulation could be better . Reception staff could be more pleasant and welcoming . Overall staff could do with more initiative to be welcoming and pleasant to the guests.

+Breakfast was okay. The location was excellent given its proximity to the Golden Temple.
−What I really found odd were paintings from European Renaissance and some Biblical works. That's a highly misaligned choice in terms of art as this particular Ramada hotel in Amritsar is in the vicinity of the Golden Temple. While I don't think it should be full of art to do with Sikhism, but why Biblical art completely befuddled me. It looked out of place and hard to appreciate. Nature, humanity, existential complexities in art are closer in thought to a place of faith, instead of what seemed like an inexplicable collision.
