”Good value but don’t expect perfection.”
+Pleasant decor , receptionist friendly , easy to find location
−Cranky old pipes going whenever water ran. Breakfast took ages and tables weren’t clean where breakfast was served.

+It really was a fab hotel, great value for money, fab service from all staff and great views of the black mountains from our room and the bar terrace. It is an older style hotel but that added to the character for us. We had been on an experience day at a blacksmiths forge and it was great to have fellow guest who shared it with us too.

”View with the convent location made the stay.”
+Location was great with beautiful view from bedroom window and dining area. On main road but no traffic noise. Big parking area, safe and outside hotel.
−Decor a bit dated and tired in some places. Long ish walk from reception to my upstairs room. No offer of help with bags. No staff obviously around to ask.

”Apart from inconsiderate guests an excellent stay and I would highly recommend.”
+The location is stunning, and the room was really well equipped even a decent hair dryer. The bathroom was clean and well equipped.Staff were friendly and obliging
−The floors must be quite thin as we had a very interrupted nights sleep due to the people I the room above walking backwards and forwards to the bathroom while possibly wearing clogs. At least that’s what it sounded like. Not the hotels fault just inconsiderate guests. Also I think they had a domestic dispute.
