”A very comfortable overnight stay. I called to say I’d be arriving later than expected and it was no problem. Will be st”
+Clean, comfortable bed and good hot water from the shower. Breakfast in the breakfast room is an excellent feature. As the name points out the morning view to the mountains across the valley is real treat.
−Dated shower and bathroom….but it was all functional.

”The staff were very friendly and happy to help us. We enjoyed our stay thank you.”
+Breakfast room was open all hours and was very nice communal area to gather. Also the complimentary beer was awesome.
−Some extra hanging hooks for towel or clothes in bathroom would’ve been handy.

”The property would benefit from management with an understanding of Motel Management.”
+The shower water pressure and hot water were excellent
−Linen and towels are past their serviceable life. Sheets were threadbare. Room was grubby, no attention to cleaning detail, significant finger marks and dirt around ALL light switches, door handles, teaspoons clearly not washed, wipe marks and coffee residue still evident. And, at 9.00pm we arrived back from dinner to find our parking space taken. (this is not a complaint, I had no issue with this at all) No problem for me, the parking was ample and the property did not seem busy. So, I parked in the next spot. A knock at the door by the Motel Manager asking me to move my car to one of the 14 or so empty spots, because a guest checking in wanted to be in that particular spot. I moved my car. Although SERIOUSLY? The big fat beer swilling owner of the Amarok couldn't walk the additional 3 meters to his room from the next available parking spot, and complained to the Manager? Luckily for me I was able to walk the additional 6 meters to my room. This is certainly not worth the $160.00 AUD I paid.
