+Cleanliness and pleasant staff .
−There was insufficient staff on Reception . At check in and check out there were long queues but only one member of staff working. You now seem to be relying on technology for people to manage their own bookings . You are in the hospitality industry where service is important

”Thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to visit again.”
+Friendly, welcoming staff and we enjoyed having a dance to the entertainment at night. Also, a good sized car park.
−The inside of the building could do with a little tlc as it was a little "tired" looking in places.

”Lovely stay”
+Lovely stay, great traditional place with friendly staff.
−My only "moan" is the pancake machine ran out of mixture and when asked about the the member of staff I spoke to said they'd get it done immediately, it wasn't done by time I'd finished my breakfast but certainly didn't ruin it.

+The staff were nice
−Everthing else please see images as they say 1000 words about how bad the place is

+Location is great the staff at the hotel are really nice and helpful breakfast as a good choice
−We have stayed at the imperial a good few times but the room we had this time wasn't very good it was small and in proper need of a revamp broken mirror tape covering a rip in the carpet bad stains on the lampshade. And they really need to sort out the check in it took 40 minutes in the cue to be seen and I used the online check in as told it was to speed things up but that only works if all the guests use the online check in

”Hugely disappointing and will never stay again.”
+Our room had a view of the sea.
−It took 40 minutes for us to check in. Despite completing pre check in information, their computer system does not register the information, so all requirements are then repeated at the check im desk. Parking for one night cost £14 which is outrageous. The hotel manager had no grasp of the importance of customer service and left a recently trained member of staff alone managing the reception area, slowing down check in for several members of the public. Several rooms were not ready for the 3pm check in time. The hotel needs some update work done. The rooms are tired looking with stained carpets and rock hard beds. Not enough plug sockets in the rooms to charge devices and the shower was the worst hotel shower I have ever used. Overall, a hugely disappointing experience and the room was no way near worth paying £171.
