„Self contained cottage-style room. GREAT host.“
+Beautiful self contained room on side of house in the hills of Beer. Country cottage feel with beautiful blooms on entry and outdoor seating area. Bathroom clean and bed comfy. Hairdryer provided. Milk and water provided. Jane allowed me to have early check in for a wedding and was in constant contact when needed. Excellent host.
−Shower wouldn’t turn to cold which would have been nice in the heat.

„Our stay was good and the landlady was helpful. However, the room itself and the facilities provided were inadequate for“
+The location was good and the owner very pleasant.
−It was just one room with no facilities to even warm up some food. There was only one chair and no work surface to even cut bread. The kettle was on the floor and there was very little space for anything.

„Very enjoyable.“
+As a lone traveller, who stayed for 7 nights, I found the accommodation more than adequate for my needs. The room is set in the garden with its own entrance and garden furniture in a very sunny spot. The room and en-suite were very clean and comfortable. The owner, a very pleasant lady, provided a good selection of teas and coffee. Milk and water was also available in a small fridge in the room. I would have no hesitation in staying at Southerhay again.
