„Nice place but greedy owner“
+Place was budget friendly and the common kitchen was nice bonus. We were big group so we made our own foods. Also the only person in a staff was friendly.
−Everything went well untill last evening. But then the owner who any of us did not see during whole stay realized that one of the group (me) was a foreigner. So he/she did send that friendly lady from the staff late in the evening to tell me that the money I did pay for booking. com was not enough. They first claimed that 3 children in group were adults (age 1, 4 and 6) and they need to pay a full price. Naturally I did not agree with that. Then they started to count how many liters we consume water/day. They insisted me to pay 4000 peso extra. After a small fight I did pay 2600. I was too tired to defend myself. Fact is that owner is a greedy person. And believe me they will find a way to charge extra from you in a way or another! Its not question about the money its a question of principle. Deal is deal and owner just wanned to earn extra. So be careful because the price you pay for booking might not be the final price! We had a plan to return next year to this very same resort. But because of the owner and his attitude we wont ever return. Owner got 2600 but lost a client.

+המיקום מעולה, החדר מלוכלך השירותים סתומים, והצוות לא עזר כדי לטפל בתקלה המחיר זול וביחס לזה התמורה סבירה

„The place was budget-friendly, and we appreciate the affordability. However, courtesy and proper communication should ne“
+On a positive note, the caretaker was friendly and accommodating. We truly appreciated the assistance in arranging our van transportation to the airport,it made our departure much smoother. Despite some concerns, this kind of personal help goes a long way in making guests feel cared for. Thank you!
−We were very disappointed with the level of communication and service from the contact person for our stay in Siargao. Prior to our arrival, we reached out several times to make a simple request, not necessarily expecting it to be granted, but hoping at the very least for a reply. Unfortunately, we received no response at all. Upon arriving at the property, there was no one at the reception to welcome us. We had to wait for nearly an hour before anyone assisted us, and again, there was no timely response from the contact person listed on the booking site. This caused unnecessary stress and delay, especially after a long journey. We understand that circumstances may arise, but basic courtesy in communication and readiness to receive guests should be a standard. We hope this gets addressed so that future guests do not experience the same frustration. As for the amenities, the WiFi did not reach our room, which was very inconvenient. The air conditioner was weak, and it seemed like the electric fan in the room was there to compensate for it. Also, a heads-up to future guests: the shower does not have hot or cold settings,it’s just a regular tap.
