Troutmere offers modern self-catering accommodation, only six kilometres from Belfast on a farm. The property provides a beautiful backdrop for nature lovers, in a landscape of beautiful natural surroundings. \n \n The accommodation is provided in a large double-storey, set on the bank of a beautiful dam, with views of the dam and wetlands of Lakensvlei. The lodge has four en-suite bedrooms each with a fireplace and views of the wetlands. The downstairs level has an open-plan living area and two en-suite bedrooms. The upstairs area has two en-suite bedrooms and a TV area on the loft. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a double door fridge-freezer, microwave and all cutlery and crockery. This open-plan area is warmed by an indoor fireplace for those cold winter nights. The living area leads out onto a large wooden deck with braai facilities, facing the dam. \n \n Guest are welcome to fish on a catch-and-release basis. The farm is also a bird lover’s paradise with a total of 128 species to be encountered, including the waterfowl, secretary birds and cranes.
