+Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding our stay at Residence Due Torri in Maiori on September 12, 2026. We paid 287 euros for one night for two guests. Our complaint is not about design or personal taste, but about basic standards of hygiene, safety, and maintenance. We have photo documentation. 1. Hygiene: the toilet was in an unsanitary condition, with significant brown staining inside and a misaligned toilet seat. Photos attached. 2. The shower had visible rust at the base, reflecting poor maintenance. Documented in photos. 3. Safety hazard: a sharp metal part was protruding from the door frame; my bag got caught on it and it scratched my hand. Fortunately, there was no bleeding, but this is a clear safety hazard. 4. Towels: the towels provided in the apartment were extremely thin, similar to a tablecloth, not proper bath towels. When we requested regular towels like those in the main hotel building, we were refused. Only after a prolonged argument and stating we would contact Booking.com, were two regular towels reluctantly given , and both were stained. The stains appeared brown, possibly fecal contamination. Photos provided. 5. Policy
