“Overall, it was good.”
+Great location. Great pool. Lovely decor. Comfortable master bed.
−Bedding was not provided in the closet for 1 of 2 pullout couches. I called front desk and they said they would bring it, but never did. Table was dusty. Floor was very sandy and I had to sweep and wipe down surfaces right when I arrived.

“We paid $400 per night - would be overpriced at half that.”
+The staff made a huge effort to make the stay comfortable. Our first door code didn't work and the friendly technician was immediately up the stairs working on it and came back a second time to help me with a user error issue. The happy hour was also very sweet - my boys loved the free popcorn and petting Maple, the pig :)
−Our first room was very clean, but the pull out bed was completely busted. We are not up-tight customers and usually take a 'we can make it work' attitude, but staples were literally sticking up through the mattress, which we had to recover from under the couch. We left it for management to see. Merely switching rooms wouldn't have been that big of a deal on our own schedule, but we stayed at the property with 4 other families, so I had to miss the group dinner and beach walk because an adult needed to stay and repack everything we had unpacked to move in, repack the car, drive over to Trestles and unpack before the kids' bedtime. In our new Trestles apartment, having first been in the other one, it felt like a huge step down. It had a second private room, which was a nice upgrade, but only 1 beach towel and TONS of leaking from the ceiling AC unit, the wall unit (onto the ground behind the kitchen table, which is what we used the one beach towel to sop up), and continual dripping from the entire front door.

“Horrible & place is dirty!”
+Not very much. Location is good but the place is not. Our room was dirty had not been swept or mopped. Oven did not work it had to be changed out by maintenance. The maintenance guy legit brought a whole oven into my unit and switched it out in front of us! lol Was unbelievable haha AC took long to cool. I had to get my own bath towels as they didn’t include enough for my guests of 4. When I went to pick them up they didn’t have enough bath towels and told me to use the pool towels. LOL place is a joke for what they charge. Horrible place. Very dirty. Reported issues to staff and they did nothing about it.
−Dirty room Oven didn’t work Not enough bath towels No parking Rude staff

“Great choice for a beach front stay”
+Beautiful location and excellent pool. Very convenient beach access made for the perfect family getaway. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks/snacks and flavor ice!
−Our unit had a lot of pet hair in the nooks and corners as well as the sofa cushions and pull out mattress.
