„Very basic. Evening meal interesting“
+The sheets were nice quality. It was clean. A good whisky collection. Breakfast was hot and tasty
−The evening meal is one sitting and a vvv limited choice on the menu. If you don’t have a starter you have to wait for everyone to have their starters before you get your main. Very bizarre. This place is not walking distance to alternative options

„Welcoming stay“
+After making an error in a booking with another lodging, I made a last minute reservation here. The staff could not have been more welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Best night sleep I had in weeks! Food was excellent and staff again was happy to do whatever is required to make for a great stay.

„Spacious rooms, lovely bath and shower and delicious meals“
+Spacious bedrooms, a lovely bath to soak in after a long days walk. Friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing, many different choices to choose from. All the different types of fresh fruit of fruit salad was amazing. The best I have every had in any hotel. We ordered the evening meal. This was also a work of art. The tasts were well mixed and the ingredients of very good quality.
−The price was quite high, but I guess the service and size of rooms and the breakfast were partly why. And the site where the hotel is is not near any cities.

„A charming Scottish retreat with cosy rooms, a delicious freshly prepared breakfast and wonderful hospitality.“
+We had a wonderful stay at The Delnashaugh Hotel with our group of six friends. The house is a beautiful, traditional Scottish property set in peaceful countryside, making it the perfect place to relax. Our rooms were cosy, simply decorated and very comfortable, with excellent beds for a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared to order, and the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. As a special bonus, we were lucky enough to see a young deer crossing the grounds in the evening, making our stay even more memorable. We would happily recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting the Highlands!

„Glatt överraskad om boendet och upplevelsen av äkta Skottland.“
+Stora fräscha rum i brittisk stil. Jätte fint överallt och välvårdat. Stor och skön dubbelsäng. Trevlig personal och jätte god mat. Verkligen en lantlig känsla och roligt att få uppleva genuina Skottland.

„Beautiful place to stay. Touch of luxury if hiking.“
+This is a beautiful place to stay. I was hiking the Speyside Way and this was one of the nicest places I stayed all week. Really friendly lady who ran the hotel. Prebooked 3 course dinner which was fantastic. Nice big room which is great when hiking. Definitely stay here if staying in the area. Great choice of whisky’s but as I was hiking I avoided!
−It’s a little bit off the Speyside Way route but it cannot be helped as there is not much accommodation choice around Ballindalloch. It only adds 30 minutes to your walk from the route which is fine as the day 3 stage is flat and not that taxing.

„A perfect location, stunning scenery, spacious rooms, and an unforgettable sunset from the deck!“
+My family and I absolutely loved this hotel! It is perfectly located , just a short distance from several distilleries and charming local towns. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully lit. The hotel sits right by the river, and there is a lovely walking path that leads to a stunning pond. The wooden deck at the front is a gem , the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy a drink, and take in the most beautiful sunset. We loved every moment of it. Without a doubt, the highlight of our entire trip!
