„Sweet Little Motel for a Casual Paso Robles Stay“
+The location was easy to get to from the highway and also a reasonable walk to the downtown City Park where we were able to get dinner and lunch the next day and taste some wine of course. Farmhouse is an updated motel, so the room was nicely decorated. They managed to fit in several little outside seating areas with fire pits on the compact grounds. They provided a simple breakfast of croissants in the in the lobby sitting room. Both staff members that we talked to while we were there were very pleasant and helpful. I had one question about a mix up with Booking and Farmhouse so I emailed Farmhouse after and it was instantly taken care of. I would definitely be willing to stay at Farmhouse motel again!
−You have to go in knowing that motels are small places. Accept that you will sometimes be aware of neighbors.

+Charming, nicely landscaped, intriguing walkways, firepits and fountain. Easy walk, for those who like to walk, to downtown. Beautifully maintained grounds and rooms and lobby and dining area. Simple but tasty continental style breakfast.
−I'm not a fan of pet friendly hotels which this one is. However, our room was spotless and the few pups we saw there were well behaved.

„Stylish, comfortable retreat just steps from downtown.“
+Wonderful location. There is road noise from the street, but that is the trade off for proximity to downtown. The decor is charming and in good condition. The snack bar is not over priced. Landscaping is beautiful.
−Check out was 11am. A landscaping company came to do maintenance near our duplex cottage at 10:30 with loud trimmers at our front porch. I had to close the only ventilation window in the bathroom since my allergies are so bad. I would recommend doing the outer perimeter chores first and then trim close to the cottage doors after 11am when guests leave.
