„Aged motel but centrally located .“
+The central location is an easy walk to cafes, shops, club and pubs.The shower was hot and bed comfortable enough. But you get what you pay for. Good air con, too.
−Aged old motel, it's my fault for not asking if ground floor rooms available, as we were put up stairs with very steep stairs, which my husband only just managed. I'll ask in future. Very small bathroom.

„Value for money and well located“
+An overall enjoyable stay for one night. Enjoyed the comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities with biscuits, clean and tidy room, friendly staff member, nice bathroom, good location in town, hooks and hangers, plenty of power points next to bed, lamps, face washers, towels and soap, and small fridge. Paid for early check in and were able to check in at 1pm after calling the mobile number on front of office door. Good value for money. Would stay again.
−The room door (#16) was tricky to unlock with key when we returned to room at night (didn't have issues during day) but managed to unlock it after a lot of jiggling around. Could hear squeaking floorboards and voices from guests in room above us. Parking at rear of building was a tight fit so parked out front on road (2 hour limit, but we didn't get a ticket). Extra signage at doors to state what number rooms are down each hallway would be handy. Tried to call number on website to confirm early check in before arrival but phone not connected, an updated contact number would be great. Based on previous reviews, the accommodation ended up being better than we were expecting.

+Location was fantastic. I was a little apprehensive when I first arrived, but this property is definitely a case of "don't judge a book by its cover". The moment I opened the door to my room, it was a completely different experience. The room was modern, clean and fresh, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised and would happily stay here again.
−Limited off-street parking. The traffic could be heard from the back rooms but not enough to be annoying.

„I will never go back there again, even though Mudgee is a nice place to visit.“
+The kitchenette was fine, good size TV with cable, air conditioning, the room was clean when we walked in. The location was fine, we were close to the CBD and amenities.
−The man at the reception was more focused on his personal phone call and made me wait for several minutes before attending to me. He was unorganised, he lacked technological comprehension, didn't know how to find my details and had to make a phone call. I offered to show him my ID and he refused to see it. He also racially profiled me and insisted in pronouncing my name differently and tried to speak to me in his language (Farsi) and I told him that I don't understand him and I kept telling him how to pronounce my name (Which is Spanish) but he ignored me, even when he was on the phone asking for technological assistance, he kept saying my name differently. The first 2 nights were terrible because a few drunken patrons stayed there and they were so loud. No one came to tidy up our room or take out the rubbish, there were no toiletries offered, the toilet paper was 1 ply, the kitchen had an old sponge to wash the dishes, no tea towels, we didn't get fresh bath towels. For what we paid the room was ridiculously small, very small bathroom, issues with water leaking everywhere.
