−Es war sehr laut, da man den oberen Stock 1 zu 1 mitgehört hat. Es gab kein Wifi bzw. Das Personal wollte es uns nicht geben. Wir haben eine Spinne im Bad vorgefunden. Zudem gab es weder (Hand-)Seife noch andere Duschmittel.

„Won't be on my list of accommodation to return to or send my staff to.“
+The location is fantastic. Right at the beach and only a 10 minute walk from the main shop/bakery. Parking on the grass out front of the room (although has a curb so wouldn't be great for low cars). This is the only truly good thing I can say about the place.
−Arrival: When arriving there had been a mix up and the room was not ready for us. Called the host who was lovely and gave us access to a different room. While this time it was simple (during off season) for them to give us a new space I worry what would have happened if this was a busier time. Cleanliness/the rooms: The rooms had clearly been serviced- there was fresh towels and bedding. However the floor was very dirty. There was visible sand, leaves and dirt. I looked for a broom to sweep the floor but the broom was equally dirty. I do not believe the room was vacuumed and mopped between guests. It is my belief that the cleaners used the dirty broom to sweep the floor and that was all. In the bathroom the walls are visibly dirty behind the toilet and the toilet seat was very loose, my colleague/partner had to tighten the seat for it to be functional. In the second bedroom that had single beds there was dead ants across the bedding, towels and side table. The vents in bathroom and in the main space were so caked with dust I doubt they are doing much. The room had a general odd odor like sour food. Most areas need general maintenance and all of it needs a true deep clean. Comfort:

„I was happy with the hosts, the bed, and the location.“
+It was a very good location, and the bed was particularly comfortable, and when the issue of the mould and the stuffy smell of the place was raised, the hosts, to their credit, offered to move me to alternate accommodation, however when they explained that the place had been cleaned, but the mould would not come out as it was stuck in the grout, I felt more comfortable about staying. Also once I bought some oil and reeds, incense, and Glen 20, and left the glass doors open for a while, the place smelt much better.
−The shower really needs regrouting as it looks awful with the mould trapped in the grout. The taps were also installed incorrectly as one turned one way, and the other turned a different way, making it very difficult to get the right temperature. The water pressure was also weak, and the internet was not good, as it was very slow, and dropped out a number of times, so I was unable to cast any of my devices to the TV, to be able to watch any of my streaming services. To be fair though, I know that the net can be spotty in that area, and the weather was awful that weekend, which would not have helped. The DVD player didn't work, either. I suggest that the agents have a look at the handbook as a previous guest has written a disparaging remark in it.

−It was filthy, hairs everywhere including on the bed. Build up of dust on everything, mouldy shower, dirty everywhere you looked. For $324 a night I would expect better. This place should be banned from booking.com

+Nice interior, good location although the seaweed makes it smell bad. Great little kitchenette and bathroom, the rain shower is great! The staff were friendly.
−The bad smell seaweed, the bed was super hard and uncomfortable for me. I believe it costs more than it should.

−Wir haben vor unserer Ankunft 2 mal Infos zum Check-Out erhalten, jedoch keine zum Check-In. Die Kontaktperson Kristen hat vorab weder auf meine E-Mail noch auf meine SMS geantwortet. Auch unsere drei Anrufe blieben unbeantwortet. Wir haben unser spätes Check-In per Mail angekündigt. Als Kristen dann endlich zurückrief, war das Telefonat sehr mühsam. Sie hat so gesprochen, als wüsste sie nichts von unserem heutigen Check-In und hat immer wieder die gleiche Frage gestellt, wo wir denn einchecken möchten!!! Da wir keine Check-In Mail bekamen, konnten wir ihr diese Frage nicht beantworten, welche Nummer uns zugeteilt wurde. Auf die Bitte hin, dass sie doch vorbeikommen sollte, klappte es dann plötzlich doch! Sie gab uns nach 10-minütigem Telefonat endlich den Code für die Schlüsselbox an! Das Gitter gegen die Fliegen liess sich nicht mit Schlüssel verschliessen. Die Küchengeräte sind alle sehr schmutzig. Einfach nicht hinter oder unter die Möbel schauen, da sind ganz viel tote und lebende Spinnen… Sauber ist anders. Zu allem anderen bekamen wir die Check-Out Infos ein drittes Mal am Morgen der Abreise.🙄 Die Check-In Info wurde wohl vergessen, was viel wichtiger gewesen wäre. Wir dach
