„Excellent stay“
+The location is excellent, the views breathtaking, on the beach. A house that welcomes entertaining or just relaxing at the pool. Long beach walks surrounded by excellent restaurants. Well equipped and the showers are fabulous.
−Some of the kitchen cupboards weren't easy to open, the hinges needed repairing. The heated pool, could've been warmer.

+Exceptional positioning on the beach with a beautiful patio for relaxing and viewing. The house comfortably accommodated our family and friends and was comfortable. It is without doubt one of the best properties for larger groups
−There are maintenance issues which need to be addressed. This includes the swimming pool, leaking roof and locking of front door and one of the patio shutters. Shared with the rental agent

−There wasn’t enough hot water for the entire household to shower or bathe at night, so some guests had to wait until the morning to shower.

+We had an amazing stay at Graaitjie in Paternoster. The house was absolutely perfect The views were breathtaking, and one of the highlights was definitely watching the stunning sunsets from the property. Every evening was a picture-perfect experience, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind.
−Unfortunately, there were several maintenance and housekeeping issues during our stay: • The braai light was broken and did not work. • We were informed that the swimming pool would be heated before our arrival, but the water was ice cold when we got there. It appears the heat pump may have been switched on too late, as the pool was still cold when we left on Sunday. • The remote controls for some of the ceiling fans had flat batteries, making them difficult or impossible to use. • The air conditioner in the main bedroom was not working. • The carpet had a noticeable dog smell and did not appear to be properly cleaned. While we enjoyed the incredible views and sunsets, we feel that better attention to maintenance and housekeeping would greatly improve the overall guest experience. We hope these issues can be addressed for future visitors.

+This was not the first time that we have been to Graaitjie, and hopefully won't be the last. Great location on the beach and also close to the shops and restaurants (Paternoster is not a huge town). We had all of the required facilities for self catering as well.
−First world problem but the heat pump for the swimming pool was not working so the water was not hot enough. On previous occasions the heat pump had been working and we were able to enjoy the pool, but not this time

„Tolles Haus ! Wir möchten gerne wiederkommen!!“
+Das Haus liegt direkt am Strand mit direkten Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus selbst ist schön .. der Pool ist klein aber beheizt was sehr angenehm war. Der Blick ist einfach herrlich! Und die Begrüßung war super freundlich und hilfsbereit!
−In den Zimmern sind unterschiedliche Lichter mal extrem kaltes Licht mal warmes Licht. Besonders das kalte Licht auf der Terasse war sehr ungemütlich abends . Zu beachten noch.. nur das Haupt Schlafzimmer hat Klimaanlage die anderen Zimmer haben aber Deckenventilatoren.

„A wonderful place directly at the sea“
+A lovely house with a heated pool directly at the sea. You wake up to the sound of the waves, with a pod of dolphins passing by. The outdoor braai is perfectly placed even when it is windy. Mona the housekeeper was quick to response and help us when we had a problem with the key - thank you!
−The kitchen cupboards don't always close properly but that is merely a detail.

„Magnificent beachfront“
+Our stay at Graaitjie was truly exceptional and exceeded all of our expectations. The direct access to the beach was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip, offering unparalleled convenience and breathtaking views. The accommodation boasts four ideal bedrooms, providing ample space for our group of five adults. Furthermore, the availability of sufficient bathroom facilities ensured comfort and privacy for everyone. We highly recommend Graaitjie for a memorable and comfortable stay.
−The waterproofing to the skylights needs a bit of TLC.

„Gute Lage, jedoch würden wir dieses Haus nicht mehr buchen.“
+Die Lage ist perfekt
−Wir mussten den Haustürschlüssel umständlich in einem Office neben einem Supermarkt abholen und konnten ihn am Abreisetag erst um 10.00 Uhr wieder abgeben. Da wir am Anreisetag um 19.00 Uhr ankamen, mussten wir zusätzlich 200 Rand bezahlen, da die eigentlichen Öffnungszeiten angeblich von 9.00 bis 17.00 Uhr sind. Wir hatten als Gruppe nur 1 Haustürschlüssel. Kein Ansprechpartner, den man etwas fragen konnten. Es hat nie jemand auf unsere Fragen per Email oder WhatsApp reagiert.

„Relaxing and invigorating! My favourite place for a group vacation!“
+The location right on the beach was fantastic! We enjyed our meals and snacks on the deck looking right at the beach and enjoyed the wonderful sunsets. The flow to the pool also allowed for lots of conversation with some in the pool and some on the deck so no one was left out. Bedroom and bathrooms were also fully equipped.
−Everything was perfect. The dishwasher was not working (due to be replaced just after we left) but that is not a big deal and we cleaned as we went along.
