«Great room if a little lacking in features.»
+Good quiet location (jets aside!), ideal for exploring the Breks and East Anglia. Have stayed before but not in this room, seems to have had a redecoration and seemed very fresh if a little spartan. Good size for 1/2, great shower, respectable view out of the single pane windows. Warm. Very comfy bed with contemporary covers, felt homely. The food at the pub was very nice as ever, and decent value, was very busy and noisy though at time of visit. Plenty of off street parking.
−As above, the room was nice but empty, like a bedroom in your first house after you've just moved in - no bedside units so wallet, keys, change etc had to be put on floor, no pictures or mirrors. Both bedside lamps had no bulbs so had to get up to turn main lights on/off. Kettle was on window sill with nothing to put it on when plugged in. No shelf in bathroom to put wash bag or other stuff. Can be a struggle with no lift and lots of doors and corridors. The fire escape signage was lacking if there at all, no escape route arrows and there's a lot of doors!! Looked like some small pieces of food on carpet.

+The hotel was lovley, however, there were no bedside tables, there were lamps on the floor, with no bulbs in them. The TV was not connected to the Internet so it didn't work. It did look like it was recently decorated, but just unfinished. Only one medium size towel and one small towel, and no toiletries, the staff were lovley

−I was not informed that the hotel was closed but my mates did get a phone call from the hotel saying they were closed. We all had to arrange alternative accommodation. The hotel were very poor at communicating or answering the phone. They did not give a refund and I had to pursue this through booking.com. A month later and I'm still waiting for the refund.

«Lovely sleep»
+The Ram Inn looks a bit ramshackle on the booking.com photo and I was not expecting much especially at the price. But they sent me across the road to the rooms at Brandon House. My room was very elegant and clean with a lovely well equipped bathroom...as good as a 5 star hotel.
−No soap in the bathroom. I asked for soap at the bar and the girl working at the bar told me the hotel had stopped providing soap in bathrooms. So take your soap and have a lovely stay.

+The room was nicely decorated. The location was nice.
−The bed was awful, we could feel the springs. I did not sleep much at all and ended up in pain. There were stains in the toilet and shower and the windows did not keep much of the traffic noise out.

+Please don’t choose this place based on their photographs . I have spent many nights in hotels of different standards and locations, sadly there wasn’t anything positive about this that I could find. The bathroom was newish but not very clean.
−When we arrived there was a wedding party at the bar where a young lady was serving…. And also dealing with the accommodation. As she was busy I waited patiently whilst a full round of drinks were purchased ( rightly so they were celebrating. When she finished I said that I was needing to check in but she insured that she had already given a jet to me. She then produced a key fir a room across the road and not in the pub accommodation. The room was a above the main reception area where the wedding party were going to hold the evening celebrations.A guy appeared from another room ( I think he was something to do with the accommodation and asked if we were part of the wedding party. I replied no to which he said “good luck” your toon is right over the main party room but not to worry as it would all be finished at 11:30pm. Every bone in my body wanted to leave but we had made arrangements for the next day and it was too late to organise anything else.I deceived to have a drive and found a lovely Italian restaurant that we intended to be as late as possible.when we returned the place was banging with everyone having a great time- but so was our room as it sounded like we were sitting

−Nothing I didn’t like but to help for future business there was not enough towels provided and no toiletries like shower gel etc just need little finishing touches like bin toilet brush and shower gel to make the bathroom complete But other than that was a lovely stay and would use again and recommend to others

−I was sent over the road to their sister hotel, the Brandon House. As I found out there were no bedside tables, no wardrobe , no toiletries in the en suite bathroom and no curtains on the windows to the en suite bathroom or frosted glass to the windows which were large and at the front of the building facing the main road - really private when visiting the toilet and having a shower !! The property was clearly under refurbishment and will be very good when it is finished. Went to checkout at 7.20 am on the Sunday but there was nobody about or even a reception area . The Ram Hotel was locked up so I posted the room key through the letter box. Had a wedding reception at the hotel and seemed a trifle disorganised
