«Loved the staff, food, service, decor and ambiance. Would definitely return. Top class.»
+I arrived to an extremely warm and friendly welcome. I was shown to my room which was an upgrade from my booking. They arrange a dinner reservation for me for 20h30. When I was struggling to get back as my taxi was late, I emailed the reception to ask that a meal would be ordered before the kitchen closed. The response was immediate and my evening was truly amazing. The food was exceptional and so were the staff and service. Warm, professional and attentive. Loved the decor, the wine room and the ambiance.
−Room was a little noisy at bedtime....but did'nt last long.

«Exceptional service, great food in a beautifully iconic hotel.»
+A group of family members and friends all stayed for 2 nights around a family funeral. The hotel staff seemed aware of this on arrival, and honestly, nothing was too much trouble. On the first night, we had a large table in a quiet area of the restaurant, the staff member took incredibly good care of us. Even down to making a note of our orders and charging straight to the rooms rather than a scramble at the end of the meal. The same chap continued to remember our room numbers throughout the stay. The food as good, great breakfast, and as the wake for the funeral was also at the hotel, once most guests had gone home, they found a separate lounge where the closest family members could stay well into the evening for further food and drink. Can't speak highly enough about every at the hotel. Thank you.

«An enjoyable stay.»
+A great location on the river. Ample parking on site. A fabulous four poster bed in an upgraded room. The staff were friendly.
−Having dinner was a little disappointing, the food, roast beef and a roast pork was luke warm and we really struggled to cut the food with blunt cutlery. This was mentioned at the time but received no response.
