«They cancelled on me at one day's notice.»
−They cancelled on me at one day's notice. Maybe they had an emergency, I don't know. They did try to call, but only once and I was driving so could not pick up, and had no way of knowing it wasn't a spam call. I then had to recoup my money through a 23 minute call with Booking.com customer service (this is *not* the hosts' fault, it is an issue with the way the booking company works: host cancels, guest has to faff around getting a refund). I very much hope other guests had better luck at this place.

+I liked how close it was to the wedding we were attending
−The scrap metal in the garden. The dry sick all over the carpets. The pubic hair in the beds the dirty shower and the putrid smell around the whole house never mind the fact that the floor boards are so squeeky that when anyone in the room above went for a wee during the night it woke us up. Ohh and the tvs don't work..

«I got less than what I paid for»
+The lounge with the 50 inch TV was good
−The bed had unclean sheets, and I didn't sleep inside the bed but rather on top of the bed. I also was not impressed with the windows which were not double glazed, so my sleep was interrupted by the traffic outside, and I had a terrible night's sleep, and woke up far too early for my liking.

«Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing due to the room not being available after booking, which caused unnecessary st»
+The property looked clean, modern, and well presented from the pictures and initial description. The location was also convenient, and it seemed like it would have been a comfortable place to stay.
−I was very disappointed because after making my booking and driving down, I was informed that the room was no longer available. I was already tired and in pain from work, so this situation caused a lot of stress and inconvenience. I had to search for another place late at night and ended up spending more than I had planned. This experience was frustrating and poorly handled.

«Won't be staying here again»
+The property is great, but....
−You shouldn't have kept my deposit longer than you had to, that's unacceptable. The deposit should be returned next day latest, not 10 days later after being reminded.

«Pretty awful. Very dirty bathroom. Unprofessional owner.»
+Good value. In principle the room could have been comfortable were it not extremely dirty.
−Bathroom disgustingly dirty with horrible stains on floor. Check in information arrived late so we were stuck outside for about 2 hours and had to go off to find phone charging, then had a very very slow communication with the owner, who eventually provided check-in information. Only one towel provided. Overall unprofessional. The response to the bathroom being disgustingly dirty (literally what looked like blood and semen stains on the floor) was "I will ask the cleaners and get back to you". Of course we did not receive a response. Update to review: I later thought I would give this place a second chance, and booked to stay. I have done this before at hotels and generally find if feedback is constructive then have resolved any issues and the second and subsequent stays are fine. On this occasion, the host then moved my reservation three days forward (to a night that was irrelevant to me) without providing an explanation, and messaged me in chat with to say that *because I had provided a negative review the room was not available*. This is against booking.com rules, and wasted a lot of time on phone calls with booking.com who had to reallocate me to another hotel (and pay the diff
