«Great rainforest retreat!»
+Fabulous place on the edge of the rainforest. Fantastic, very large balcony area with amazing views and well equipped with rocking chair, tables and chairs, perfect for relaxing to the sounds and sights or the rainforest. Food here was fabulous, it was delicious Sri Lankan food and the portions were huge!
−It was a very steep path down to the property. It wasn't a problem for us but could be if your mobility is compromised.

+Top Aussicht und ein Ort zum Entspannen mit Blick auf den Wald. Gutes Wifi vorhanden, Frühstück lecker, kaffe, Tee, Mittagessen und Abendessen und Dessert und Fruchtsäfte auf Wunsch zu sehr fairen Preisen verfügbar (Homecooking) Sehr freundliche Betreiber.
−Etwas abgelegen aber vielleicht gerade deshalb so schön.

+Wunderschön und kreativ vom Eigner gestaltete kleine FeWo mit großer Terrasse zu Fluss und Regenwald. Wir haben von hier viele Tiere gesehen: 2 Sorten Affen, Pfaue, riesige Rattennattern, Warane im Fluss, viele bunt schillernde Vögel, ein Adler und massenhaft Glühwürmchen. Nach Westen kann man nach 1km runter zum Fluss über eine Bambusbrücke zum Dorf und Nationalpark-Eingang queren und nach Osten nach 2 km ebenfalls runter zum Fluss zu einer festen Brücke ein weiterer offizieller Eingang. Wir haben alleine Nachtwanderungen für Strasse etwa 500m westlich einen Pfade am Bach zum Berg hoch unternommen und sehr viel im Wald gesehen. Bei der Familie haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben ChatGPT-pro zur Übersetzer-App programmiert, so konnten wir uns frei auf singalesisch und deutsch unterhalten. Sehr schön ist die Terrasse, auch zum remote Arbeiten
−Es gibt auf dem Balkon keine Steckdosen für den Laptop. Vielleicht könnte neben dem Lichtschalter aussen eine Steckdose nachgerüstet werden, das wäre top!

+Prachtige locatie, midden in de natuur, met geweldig uitzicht vanaf balcon. En het gastvrije ontvangst van Dalci en Sarat. Zo super lief! Ze staan de hele dag voor je klaar. Het eten is zeer uitgebreid en erg lekker. Verblijf is redelijk eenvoudig, wat we graag wilden. Wat ons betreft was dit 1 van de toplocaties in Sri Lanka! Komen graag nog eens terug!

«A cosy nature spot»

+Toller Ausblick vom Balkon. Nachts sieht man überall Glühwürmchen. Bett ist bequem und Zimmer sehr groß. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett.

«Amazing view»
+We stayed two days and would have loved to stay longer. The view is amazing, the food cery good and everything clean. The hosts are very sweet and with Google translator you can communicate with them. The organized a rainforest Tour and a car for our next Trip for us. Thanks a lot!
−If you want very much privacy, it may not be the right place for you, because you are very close to and with the family. We liked it a lot.

«A GEM of a place. So sad to leave. Would highly recommend»
+A WONDERFUL place! Excellent value & for the price, the facilities are great- large room & private balcony, nice shower, comfy bed. Best of all Dalsi & Salat are SO lovely: kind, helpful & she’s a phenomenal cook..& SO generous with the food . Salat arranged a forest tour for us which is well worth doing, but from the balcony you could see a whole parade of beautiful birds. We also loved swimming in the river below the guesthouse.
