+Nichts

+The hotel location is perfect, next to Zaandam theater
−The hotel does not provide 4-star level service: 1. there is no reception desk, and you have to wait for staff from the restaurant. They are unfriendly and seem in a rush to get back to the restaurant. 2. The rooms don't even have a kettle, which means you can not make tea or coffee! You can buy coffee in the lobby, but there is no hot water available to prepare tea! The hotel gives wrong information thst they have a kettel in every room. 3. It is quite dirty; the room was cleaned very fast and you can feel it. 4. It is impossible to open the windows. Overall impression: you weren’t exactly welcome here. There is no lobby, no properly equipped rooms, and no reception area. It’s a cheap hostel where nobody cares about you.

«Earplugs Instead of a Good Night’s Sleep!»
−A Hotel That Gives You Earplugs Instead of a Good Night’s Sleep! For the first time in my life, I walked into a hotel room and found two packs of earplugs waiting on the bedside table. I should have taken that as a serious warning! Then I noticed the gaps around the entrance door, which opened directly onto a hallway with a administrator desk and at least 5 other guest rooms. I can only imagine that their doors had the same wonderful “soundproofing.” And then, shortly after 11 p.m., the real nightmare began. Somewhere nearby, a disco started blasting its relentless BOOM-BOOM-BOOM, with deep, pounding bass vibrating through our room. It felt as if a drummer had taken up residence inside our heads! That was when we finally understood why the hotel had so thoughtfully provided earplugs. Both my wife and I had to use them just to have a chance of sleeping. My wife had never used earplugs in her entire life , until this hotel! As for the staff… do they actually exist? We didn't see a single member of staff, either at check-in or at check-out. Instead, there is a self-service machine at reception that dispenses your room key cards , provided, of course, that you know your booking referen

+De locatie is top. Hartje Zaandam, karakteristiek pand.
