+Nous avons séjourné en couple à Maida Lodge et avons tellement adoré l’expérience que nous avons prolongé notre séjour une fois sur place (5 nuits au total, fin mai 2026). Ayant lu les rares commentaires négatifs : en effet, Maida Lodge n’est pas un « resort d’activité touristique », mais une expérience immersive authentique et infiniment qualitative dans la nature du Nord du Vietnam, au bord de l’eau. C’est un lieu magique où laisser le temps passer, lire, se baigner, se reposer, peindre, et surtout goûter l’incroyablement savoureuse carte de mets locaux typiques. Là de nouveau : ne s’attendre à rien de clinquant et artificiel, les produits sont sélectionnés pour leur fraicheur et leur proximité locale, il est possible que l’intégralité de la carte ne soit pas disponible en tout temps. Se laisser guider par l’hôte est la meilleure expérience possible. Prévenir un peu en avance des repas souhaités pour permettre aux équipes de s’approvisionner fait entièrement partie de l’expérience. Après un séjour prolongé au Nord du Vietnam et étant tout deux aventureux en terme de repas : la cuisine au Maida Lodge était sans aucun doute la nourriture la plus savoureuse de notre voyage. +An Absolute Paradise in Hòa Bình - Perfect Family & Friends Getaway! We just returned from a magical 5-day, 4-night stay at Maida Lodge, and it was truly one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. Traveling as a family of three with an 11-month-old boy, along with two of our close friends, we weren’t sure how easy a lakefront retreat would be with a baby,but Maida Lodge exceeded every expectation. The Hospitality From the moment we arrived, the service was world-class. The staff are some of the most wonderful people we’ve met,warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. A special shout-out to the *manager*, who was incredibly professional and personally ensured that every small request we had (especially with a young child in tow) was handled immediately. «Very nice small scale resort, great hospitality and food»
+Very nice and comfortable small scale resort with beautiful view on the lake with mountains on the backdrop. Quite popular with people living in Hanoi, and seeking a little relax break. They picked us up with the boat, which was very convenient and saved us a long trip by car. The food is great! We tried many local dishes and they were all great The manager Truong was the best! Very friendly and helpful, he elevated our stay from very good to excellent, thank you so much!
−Small suggestions in case the ambition is to attrack more foreign visitors; we'd appreciate a slightly larger cocktail menu. They offer 3 kind (very tasty), but it's a small selection and since there are various fresh juices available on the menu, it would be easy to turn them into cocktails. And while never inconvenient for us, we noticed that there were just 5 sunbeds in the pool area, which meant not everyone can perhaps enjoy them when they would like. Perhaps another 3 on each wooden deck would already increase the capacity significantly without compromise the aesthetics of the pool area too much. Again, small suggestions. We really enjoyed our stay!

+Vị trí địa lý rất đẹp, có tàu đón nên di chuyển tiện lợi, phòng sạch sẽ gọn gàng và đẹp, khuôn viên rất nhiều cây xanh, không khí trong lành, đồ ăn ngon, anh quản lý và các bạn nhân viên support nhiệt tình và vô cùng dễ thương. Maida rất rất đẹp, đáng tiền.
−Vì ở trên đồi, nhiều cây nên thỉnh thoảng hay có côn trùng bay vào phòng, mình hơi sợ 🥲

«Exceptional stay, beautiful design, and top-tier service»
+Maida Lodge is a dream! The rooms are beautifully designed with gorgeous lake views, and the entire property feels like a luxury oasis. It is incredibly peaceful with very little traffic nearby, making it perfect for walks or kayaking on the clean lake. The food was delicious (don't miss the grilled fish!), and the pool is fantastic. Mr. Truong and his staff are wonderful,they are attentive and helpful (organizing all our transport seamlessly) but also respect your privacy. It was one of the best experiences of our trip. Highly recommended!
