«Good value upscale stay in established resort..»
+Beautiful 1970s hotel spread over lush and beautifully tended gardens. Private beach, good food and entertainment. Choice of pools to suit a relaxed spa atmosphere or a more typical all inclusive family vibe at the main pool. Gym staff are very competent All staff personable and helpful. Bedroom large and very clean. AC worked well - you will need it as its humidity at night Very good value for money We were independent travellers looking for a place to relaxed for a few days before safari, fits the bill perfectly. Clean everywhere. Pools well maintained and clean.
−All good. Monkeys can be a problem but they have a full time monkey patrol. Would be nice to get a proper coffee by the pool, have to go to the cafe for that but it was the best Americano in Kenya!

«I would not stay at this property again»
+Jones and the Human Relations manager were very nice to speak with. Very polite and hospitable...so was the front desk especially Hamisi (I hope I have his name right). Very pleasant people!!!
−- WiFi did not work our entire stay. The IT guy showed up to our room and said the WiFi was out throughout the resort for the first and second day. We could not log into the TV apps, Netflix, Amazon et al - Hotel has hot water only between 6PM and 10 AM, God forbid one wants a hot shower there in-between! - Asking for towels that would not arrive, so I went to the front desk to grab them myself - My brother came to visit me and the guards at the gate wanted me to walk up there to get him, there has to be a better way to vet guests!

«Nice holiday resort. A big thank you to Rosa in Chui Grill who made my dinner so enjoyable.»
+Location
−One suggestion is if you are booking transport through the hotel I would suggest you double check it day before. I had booked through hotel and they had confirmed so I assumed all was ok but upon arrival no one was waiting for me at the airport. I found out no booking had even been made to send a taxi (even though they had confirmed). I was also lucky a taxi service was there otherwise I would have been stranded. It was just lucky it was a ‘safe’ destination and during daylight hours because as a solo female traveller it would have been a real concern if it had been at night.
