+Perfect view of mt kazbegi from the room.

«I expected much more from this accommodation, especially considering the price of €61 per night.»
+The location and the view is stunning! The friendly cat that lives there makes our stay even better!
−Unfortunately, there were several disappointing issues during our stay. All the kitchen utensils and dishes were dirty when we arrived, and the induction hob wasn’t working, which resulted in me wasting the food I was trying to prepare. The mattress is extremely soft and uncomfortable, making you feel like your entire body is constantly moving. There is no mirror in the accommodation, the lighting is very poor, and there are very few electrical outlets. The bathroom was particularly disappointing. It had a very strong, unpleasant smell, and the shower had no enclosure. To make matters worse, the shower hose was damaged, causing water to spray in every direction and flood the entire bathroom, making it practically impossible to dry the floor afterward. Overall, the accommodation needs significant improvements in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, comfort, and basic facilities to justify charging €61 per night. Unfortunately, I don’t believe this accommodation offers good value for money in its current condition.

+These cabins are spectacular! The view from them is unbeaten in the whole of Kazbegi. The bed was super comfortable and I felt safe as it was in the owners land.
−Only thing I’d say is the bathroom was abit gross, no shower curtain meaning the whole bathroom got flooded every time you shower, which then led to an awful smell. Not ideal having to wear shoes to go to the toilet because the floor is so wet. Could be simply fixed by adding a shower curtain. Also the curtain for the big windows doesn’t go all the way to the roof meaning that it’s very bright in the morning, which personally doesn’t bother me but I know a few people who struggle to sleep with light coming in. Also some of the plates and dishes were dirty upon arrival so I had to wash them myself before using. And I only got given half of 1 toilet roll for a 4 day stay so had to go and buy my own for the last night which felt a waste

«In need of renovation»
+Nice views
−Bathroom and furniture in need of renovation. No lights in the kitchen, a table lamp on a shelf was put as replacement. Overall you don't feel you are in a welcoming and clean environment.

«Vue magnifique et cottage chaleureux !»
+Propriétaire très sympathique, la vue du cottage est magnifique, et la literie très confortable. C’est agréable de pouvoir faire un petit complément à manger sur place (mini cuisine/frigo).
−Rien !

«A lovely cottage in a beautiful location with a kind host and everything you need to feel comfortable.»
+I stayed for two nights at the Kazbegi Kuro Cottages and had a lovely experience. The host was very kind, she greeted me a few minutes after I arrived and got me checked in. After that, she gave me my privacy but was responsive when I had questions. The cottage itself was clean and charming, and the view from the deck was a highlight for sure. Bathroom had all the facilities you need and the kitchenette was very convenient. I cooked myself a nice dinner on the first evening of my stay. Easy to walk all around Kazbegi from the cottage. The local markets have amazing produce and Ratio Bakery nearby had great pastries!
−Not necessarily things I didn’t like, but a few things to know if you are planning to stay here. There is no air conditioning in the cottage. Not a problem because the temps during my stay averaged about 18°-21° Celsius. Late in the afternoon the sun shines directly into the cottage which made it rather warm for a couple of hours. Cools down quickly after the sun sets. The bathroom did not have toilet paper, so I had to go to the market and buy some. Not a big deal, I was able to get a couple rolls for about 3 GEL. There is WiFi that works fine, but I ended up mostly using my cellular data while staying here because it was faster. Perfectly fine for the casual stay, but if you are planning to work online, I would not rely on the WiFi. If bugs are a problem for you, you should know that it was a bit buggy. Nothing serious, just a few spiders and moths. It didn’t impact my stay negatively, I wanted a cottage in the mountains in order to be close to nature.
