«No woman and poor cleaning»
+The place is beautiful, breath taking and well designed. It was my husbands birthday and they provided a beautiful cake and decorated our bed. Loved the accomodation, food, Henna artist and the massues.
−Firstly, there are no women that work in the main hotel. It was really strange. One women on reception that never crossed into the actual hotel, and the woman in the spa, right next to the reception. Not one women in the resturant, bar, pool or the cleaners. It felt very strange and this would stop me visiting again. Secondly, the cleaners do not take away any cooklery or glasses etc. from the rooms. We spoke with other guests who had the same problem. After three days they did take them out of the tent and place the now large selection of glasses on our veranda table. We then woke up around 4am to loud knocking and squarking that got louder as the morning progressed. By breakfast time we opened the curtains to find a murder of crows on the veranda who had smashed glasses. We told our Butler who was obviously annoyed at the cleaners and promised it would be sorted. The cleaners came after breakfast and we left them to it. But they still didnt take them! Not even cleaning away the broken glass. We complained again before they were moved. Also, no hot water for the bathtubs.

«Topp Unterkunft an einem gigantischen Strand»
+Wir waren vor 2 Jahren 6 Nächte im Karpaha Sands und diesmal 10 Nächte. Wir haben wieder einen Beachbungalow gebucht, Palam 6. Das Hotel befindet sich an einem sehr breiten und mit vielen Palmen bepflanzten Strand. Es ist das einzige Hotel an diesem Strand. Es gibt also nur sehr wenige Menschen. Abgesehen von den einheimischen Fischern. Diese kann man beim fischen beobachten, den Fang anschauen und mit den Fischern ins Gespräch kommen. Das Hotel kauft die Fische auch gleich ab. An dem Strand gibt es genügend Liegen, die täglich mit neuen Handtüchern bestückt werden. Wir haben auch immer frisches Wasser gebracht bekommen, sobald wir auf den Liegen lagen. Am Nachmittag gab es immer eine kleine Süßspeise kostenlos. Am Strand gibt es auch Schaukeln und Hängematten, super Fotomotive. Unser Bungalow bzw. Zelt war sehr geräumig und es ist auch so, wie auf den Fotos. Wir hatten während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts einen eigenen Ansprechpartner, Namal. Wir bekamen ein extra Handy, wo wir unsere Wünsche ihm direkt mitteilen konnten. Namal war uns immer sehr behilflich und sehr zuvorkommend. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der große Pool.
−Wir müssen sehr stark nachdenken, ob uns etwas einfällt. Manchmal sind die Hunde in der Nacht etwas laut. Und man hat sie ständig um sich.

«Kleines Paradies an der Ostküste»
+Wunderschönes Resort an der Ostküste! Pool und Strand sind einfach traumhaft, das Essen wirklich hervorragend und das Personal überaus freundlich! Unser persönlicher Butler Dulip hat uns mit der Organisation von einigen persönlichen Dingen sehr unterstützt. Für uns war es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt bei dem wir super entspannen konnten und sogar eine Nacht verlängert haben. Vielen Dank!
−Die Bedienelemente unserer Außendusche waren leider sehr schwergängig. Trotzdem tolles Ambiente!

«Mit das Beste was man auf Sri Lanka finden kann!»
+Wir können uns nicht erinnern je eine bessere Unterkunft gebucht zu haben. Vom Frühstück angefangen über Strand, Zimmer, Massagen, Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals, Sauberkeit, Lage, etc. alles mindestens 10*. Selten haben wir uns in einem Hotel so wohl gefühlt!! Vielen Dank an alle, besonders an Nisanthan, Tharushi und Thanu!!!

+An incredible boutique hotel in a perfect location! The attention to detail is exceptional,from the warm, personal service and amazing food to the beautiful pool area. Truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. We can't wait to come back!
−There is no gym or facilities/activities for staying active/working out. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect!

«Simply excellent»
+Karpaha Sands was the best hotel we have ever stayed. We picked this hotel for our honeymoon and could not ask more. Every detail from the moment we stepped in until the moment we left was well thought and wonderful. Spacious beach, infinity pool, delicious foods, comfortable and very clean rooms, we loved every part of it. Special thanks to Umberto, the hotel manager, greeting us very warmly, and making sure our stay was exactly like we hoped it would be. Thank you Nisanthan, our butler, making feel us home in every second we stay in Karpaha Sands, taking care of our every needs attentively. Thank you Pethum, serving our breakfasts and dinners with his continuous smile on his face.

«Ein absoluter Traum»
+Es war ein absoluter Traum! Die Anlage ist wunderschön angelegt und mit nur 17 Bungalows perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Personal liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab und ist extrem aufmerksam und freundlich! Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können diese Anlage nur empfehlen!
−Eine schattige Outdoor-Sportfläche wäre noch schön….das ist aber wohl schon in Planung😉

+It was a beautiful and incredibly relaxing place with excellent staff, delicious food and a pristine beach. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend a stay here. It was good value given the very high standards of the hotel.

+The highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! Stunning property. The setting is magical, and the beach pristine. The food was incredible and plentiful. Accomodation was lovely; very private and comfortable. Great pool area. Staff were fantastic, Umberto & your team - congratulations on such a spectacular place.
