The hotel’s boiler broke down and wasn’t repaired until the following morning. Furthermore, the windows in the hallway were left open all afternoon,at least from the moment I arrived at the hotel. I closed them myself, but one remained open because the handle was broken. As a result, it was very cold in my room, and I returned home with a bad cold. In short, the basic service that any hotel should provide, keeping guests warm, was not delivered. It is unacceptable not to have a

«Super disappointing, won't be returning»
+good location, decent breakfast, comfortable lobby
−My husband and I stayed at Hotel Hygge on September 27, and unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing experience. We were given a room in a separate building across the courtyard, on the fourth floor. The elevator only went to the third floor, so we had to carry our luggage up a narrow, winding staircase for the last flight. We also noticed that the carpets in the common areas were extremely dirty. At first, our room looked bright and clean, but we soon noticed a strong sewer-like smell. We hoped it might clear while we were out for the evening, but when we returned, it was much worse. My husband went to reception to ask for another room, only to be told the hotel was fully booked apart from a very small room with a single bed. Given how late it was, we didn't feel we had much choice but to take it. So, we ended up spending the night squeezed into a single bed in a tiny, hot room with one small, high-up window and no air conditioning. Neither of us got much sleep, and it definitely wasn't the comfortable night we'd expected when booking a hotel for two adults. The staff did offer us complimentary breakfast vouchers, which we appreciated, but honestly, that didn't make up for the
