«Уютная комната в тихом месте.»
+Расположен в тихом безопасном районе с часными домами. Дружелюбный общительный хозяин, встретил помог припарковать машину. Небольшая уютная комнатка с удобной кроватью в общем доме. Ванная комната и кухня общая. Для длительного проживания не совсем удобно, но на пару дней хороший вариант.

−Wir waren Ende August für eine Nacht zu dritt im House Susanne; leider hatten wir eine Familienfeier während der gamescom und mussten einen mehr als verdoppelten Zimmerpreis bezahlen. Die Begrüßung und Einweisung in das Zimmer um 15 Uhr war nett. In Ordnung fanden wir, dass man die Straßenschuhe am Hauseingang wechseln muss, verbesserungswürdig ist allerdings, dass man Plastikhausschuhe bekommt, die, wie die Straßenschuhe, keinen festen Platz haben - man also ggfs. den Fußpilz der anderen Gäste erbt. Das zugewiesene Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig, das Duschbad ebenfalls. Wir haben uns dann frisch gemacht und sind gegen 17:30 weg gegangen. Abends kam es dann allerdings zu einer untragbaren Situation: Der Gastgeber rief uns gegen 19 Uhr an und teilte uns sehr eindringlich mit, dass wir unser Zimmer tauschen müssten, weil man uns angeblich das falsche Zimmer gegeben habe, es sei für 5 Personen reserviert und wir müssten in ein kleineres umziehen. Wir waren sehr überrascht und haben zähneknirschend zugestimmt, wurden mit dem Auto abgeholt und wieder zurück gebracht. Das neue Zimmer war dann klein, es gab außer einem Stuhl (der mit Tagesdecke und Kissen belegt war) keine Ablagemögli

+Das Zimmer war genauso, wie es beschrieben wurde, und insgesamt völlig in Ordnung. Die Betreiber waren sehr nett, aufmerksam und wirklich bemüht, dass man sich als Gast wohlfühlt. Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass die Betreiber offenbar mit im Haus wohnen. Es handelt sich daher nicht um ein klassisches Gästehaus. Für uns war das aber kein großes Problem, da die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und zurückhaltend waren. Insgesamt haben wir uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

«Nice room for a short stay»
+Susanne and Peter are nice and friendly hosts! The check-in instructions we received via e-mail were clear but we happened to arrive when Susanne and Peter were home so they welcomed us warmly and explained the details to us. No shoes allowed upstairs so there were enough slippers in different sizes and colours. The two rooms on the first floor share the bathroom which worked very well for us. And since it was a warm weekend there was a ventilator in our room which was really nice! We went for breakfast at the bakery down the street.

«A great place to spend a few days in Cologne!»
+Great place to stay for a few days in Cologne at a very reasonable price. The family room is thoughtfully arranged and comfortably accommodates a family of four (two adults and two children). We had no issues during our stay. The internet connection was reliable, the beds were comfortable, and the shower worked well. Essential toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper were provided in sufficient quantities. If you have specific preferences, there is a REWE supermarket within walking distance. The city center and the main train station can be reached in about 30 minutes by public transport with just one transfer. There were some roadworks during our visit, which may have affected travel times slightly, but overall transportation was convenient and caused no problems. There are also a couple of nice cafés near the REWE store. Even the local döner place turned out to be surprisingly good despite our initial impression. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would happily recommend this accommodation.
−One small suggestion for improvement would be to add a few more power outlets in the room. We brought our own multi-port charging station (8 ports to one outlet) and few ports for notebooks, which helped a lot, but nowadays most travelers need to charge several devices (telephone, tablet, game console, watches and other) per person overnight. As a result, the number of available outlets may not always be sufficient for all guests and their gadgets in one room.
