«Great Location, But Not Comfortable»
+The only good thing about this hotel is its location. It’s perfectly situated close to all the major landmarks in the city, making sightseeing very convenient. However, the biggest issue is transportation. No vehicles are allowed in the area, so you have to walk at least 700-800 meters with your luggage. This was especially difficult in the extreme heat (44°C) and with a child. It was a very uncomfortable and exhausting experience. The room itself was extremely small, comparable to a matchbox. While the hotel does have an in-house restaurant, the food was just okay, nothing special. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for comfort or ease of access. It might suit solo travelers who are okay with walking and don’t mind compact rooms, but for families or anyone with mobility concerns, this place is not ideal.

«Location, Location, Location»
+Nice hotel located only 1 minute.from main Ghat in Varanasi. Staff are very efficient and try best to accomodate you, although too many staff hover around the entrance area, main desk as it’s a small area (think a family run it) Room itself is OK, with price it was what I was expecting, food was really nice at hotel so I ate every night at hotel and it was very affordable. Noise is an issue on several fronts traffic noise (Indian love to blow horn), street noise below hotel is often loud and you can hear conversations and yelling very clearly and Hindi music plays through street early in mornings, so if you are a very light sleeper you may not get a good night sleep, in saying that for the area probably every hotel would have these issues. For me with the location and the food I would stay at this hotel if I came back to Varanasi. You do get used to the noise after a night for 2.

«Muito boa a localização»
+Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo ao principal Ghat de Varanasi. Enviei mensagem ao hotel para providenciar transfer da estação de trem, porém não houve resposta. Entretanto, o atendimento presencial não deixou a desejar. Providenciaram meu transfer ao aeroporto por um bom preço

+I felt like in a prison in the room. I know that is the Varanasi ghats but I’d hoped to find any better. No it’s hotel fault mostly is what you can expect from Varanasi ghats lounge

«Had to move hotels to get any sleep!»
+Booking was supposed to include breakfast; however, the owner charged us 450. Went on 2nd morning for breakfast because we had a walking tour booked but the owner is the only staff who can speak English and he was sleeping in the lobby. Cook refused to look at photos on my phone of what we wanted to eat. Noise level was INSANE. Got perhaps 4 hours of sleep each night. Checked out of hotel one day early without breakfast again because we needed to get some sleep before traveling to our next city, waited for room inspection, was told to pay money. Paid. Got a phone call from the owner asking me to return to the property because he forgot to charge me for the laundry service I used!!!!

«Convenient place in the heart of the ghats.»
+Very conveniently located near the ghats. A bit of noise at night with occasional dog(s) barking. I arrived near the festival of Shiva so it may have been busier at night than normal. Friendly staff.

«Book it and enjoy an easy time at the Ghats!!!»
+My experience with the MRK was really great, im a Solo traveler from Denmark, stayed 2 nights! Here are some tips for reaching the hotel: you will not be 100% able to take a taxi or so to the front door! You will be dropped of about 8-900 meters from the hotel! Use Google maps to get to the Hotel, once in the area, just ask at shops, and they will show you the small entrance. But beleive me, you will love that the traffic are less at the location! Checkin was easy, ALL the staff are very nice and helpfull. Rooms are like they are in India for the price, Wifi are working, but don’t expect to stream 4k Videos! The location for the Ghats can not be more easy! 60 meters walk, and you are at the stairs to th Ghat’s and evening Ceremony! I enjoyed all my meals there! Open kitchen, great meny, lovely omelette for breakfast! The owner are a really nice guy, him and his staff really wants people to have a great stay! My best recommendations!!!
