«Absolut kein Hotel der Mittelklasse / komplett ungenügend»

−Das Hotel wird in Booking.com als ein Hotel der gehobenen Klasse angepriesen, was überhaupt nicht stimmt: die Gegend ist zwar zentral aber absolut verkommen, es war niemand an der Reception und als dann jemand kam, war er ungepflegt und unhygienisch, der Eingang ist schmutzig und das Zimmer hatte 2 Betten, welche nicht einmal ein Matratzen-Leintücher aufwies und man hatte keine Sicht nach draußen. Das Hotel können wir niemandem empfehlen, der einen minimalen Europa-Standard verlangt. Wir haben das Hotel sofort verlassen (bezahlt hatten wir ja schon im voraus) und uns ein anderes Hotel gesucht (was in Suncheon auch einer Herausforderung gleichkam).

+Es gab einen Fahrstuhl, was erleichternd ist, wenn man im 6. Stck. wohnt und Koffer dabei hat. Da die Rezeption nicht besetzt war, wurden Fragen umgehend über die Nachrichtenfunktion beantwortet und der Ansprechpartner kam aus dem Nachbargebäude. In 5 min zu Fuß war man am Fluss, dessen Laufweg wirklich schön ist. Auch Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren schnell erreicht.
−Das Hotel war insgesamt sehr schmutzig. In einer Gemeinschaftsküche lag tagelang benutzte Bettwäsche und dreckiges Geschirr. Im Zimmer gab es eine riesige Kakalake und der Flur wurde durch eine Fachkraft im Schutzanzug mit Pestiziden benebelt. Frische Handtücher und Toilettenpapier erhielten wir nur auf Nachfrage am 3. von 5 Tagen. Es schien, als ob das Hotel nur noch von wenigen Touristen gebucht wurde. Es wirkte "ausgestorben". Vielleicht lag es am Sommer?

«Good location for a quiet stay»
+We didn’t see the staff much in person, but they were incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we reached out, especially when we had a few little issues during our stay. They always reacted quickly and did their best to help. Thank you for the great hospitality! 😊
−We had to ask for water bottles each day as there wasn’t a water dispenser available, but they were always happy to provide them ! A few things could be improved: there was no washing machine, and the balcony was not very well maintained, so unfortunately we couldn’t really enjoy it.

«Good location for a quiet stay and interchange.»
+Clean, good and quiet location close to the river and Suncheon Bus terminal. I could park my bicycle for free in front of the hostel. WIFI was good and the apartment was spaceous and well equipped.
−no washing machine. Supermarkets are a bit far away and there are no sights close to the Hotel. Dishes and cutlery are a bit limited. The balcony seemed a bit lost and unmaintained.

«Great Location for a perfect rest»
+After a few experiences with "motels" masquerading as hotels, we weren't sure what to expect,but we were incredibly relieved to find that this is a genuine hotel. For a similar price point, it offered some of the best bedding we’ve encountered during our entire South Korea trip. The room was spacious, fully functional, and,once again,spotlessly clean. The location is also perfect, situated conveniently between the bus and train stations. While the staff wasn't always physically at the front desk, they were exceptionally helpful and responded to all our questions through the app almost instantly. The host even went out of his way to help us with our laundry, which was a huge lifesaver since finding a local laundromat proved to be a bit of a challenge. We recommend you to check the tourist information at the train station, they are incredibly helpful for local tips such as restaurants recommendations or activities. Our favourite were the "Brew Works" cafe/brewery and all cafe around, the 12km hike between Songgwangsa temple and Seonamsa temple, and strolling around Suncheon Natural Bay especially before sunset (they close at 8pm)
−Like many areas in South Korea, the street might look a bit sketchy at first glance,especially if you arrive at night like we did,but you’ll quickly realize it’s perfectly safe and incredibly well-located. Overall, everything was perfect for us!
