«Seedy Accomodation.»
+I would never book hostel type accommodation, but that’s exactly what we ended up with here. The place was badly misrepresented, being old, quirky and in need of refurbishments. The carpets in the public areas were threadbare in places. Encountering other “guests” in passing, left you with an uneasy feeling. Where “Apartment” comes in, I do not know. We were lead to believe that this accommodation was separate from the hotel, but it was just a room in the hotel, the size of a prison cell. Nothing like the picture on the front of the confirmation email from Booking.Com. The “kitchen” area was a joke, with the electric kettle and microwave powered by dangerous trailing leads that didn’t reach the floor. We were given another room, which although bigger, was totally uncomfortable and lacking facilities. Where were the promised “toiletries”? The wifi did not work. There was constant noise at night from loud voices and doors banging. The receptionist was the rudest person I have ever met, and treated us with contempt as if we were a total nuisance to her. All the pictures on line make the place look lovely, but the reality is nothing like it. After complaining to Booking.Com, we checked

«Nice room for the price»
+Not bad, size of unit was good for price. Nice windows open to a courtyard view with trees and birds. Surrounding area was a bit sketchy. Train station 50 meters away

+Alles was oke behalve de bed. 2x eenpersoons bed.

«Best location to stay in Berlin»
+The location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to the charlottenburg s bahn station from where you can get to Hbf and Alexanderplatz easily. Likewise, you can a direct bus to Txl airport and berlin ZOB. Location was the prime reason for choosing this place. The staff do speak english ( you have to be careful). Having lived in Germany for few years, I am okay with the fact that the staff will be more straight forward than friendly. As long as they are not rude, its acceptable. I can say the same about the hotel’s staff. Breakfast is alright. They have variety of cheese, simple bread, brotchen and sausage. I think two to three days of that breakfast is fine. Just make sure you are done eating by 10 am or else they will ask you to leave. The room itself is okay. For the price, i think its fine. The beds to slide so just be cautious of that. There is no coffee machine or hot water boiler. There is an elevator but it doesn’t go to all floors so there might be a little bit of luggage carrying. The bathroom is a little old with few amenities. However, the housekeeping is impeccable. Not only did they clean the room, they also folded our clothes. It was really nice. I do recommend this h
