+The location was fine and the room was clean and the mountain view was awesome. Easy checkin.
−Even though we booked via booking.com the hotel management wanted us to pay advance to keep the booking valid, if not they informed us the booking will be cancelled from their end. Anyway I understood it is peak tourist time at Munnar, so I paid the advance. After I checked in, they immediately cancelled my booking from booking.com and mentioned as no show. Reception told as we paid the advance, hence it is taken as a direct booking and not considered via booking.com. I requested and reverted the booking from the reception itself. The staff was not at all considerable for any extra requests, as we were checking out there was a huge argument between a family and reception, but not sure the reason though. To have hot water shower, have to wait for 15-20 mins under cold water, this was at night. it was even worst in the morning and I have to give up having a shower. I dont recommend this stay during peak season.
