«Best place I have stayed at for a couples retreat»
+Absolutely stunning! Gary is a great host, very informative with information provided. The Lodge itself is stunning. It is very clean, the bed OMG I NEED the mattress!! The shower was a great size, hot tub was lovely and hot and the views were stunning. Very relaxing stay! First place I have stayed at where I felt very clean and had no worrying feelings about sleeping in the bed. We were very comfy and happy. We will certainly be back

«Excellent location with great cabin facilities for a quiet short isolated stay.»
+Lovely quiet location with superb view and excellent facilities in a cabin with all amenities. Hot tub excellent.
−The fire pit griddle does not fit properly and easily falls or tilts into the coals. It is extremely hazardous as the was no insulated handle to correct or hold it. This could cause injury. The utensils were old, of poor quality and even broken. Picnic table requires refurbishing and general tidying up.

«Comfort surrounded by nature»
+The location is amazing, you feel completely remote and immersed in the countryside but with homely comforts. The visits from the horse and the pony added to this. The hot tub was brilliant and hot on arrival. Bed was comfortable and I loved the bath robes. Didn't use the log burner as the weather was warm but I imagine it would be lovely in the colder months.
−Fridge was too small and sometimes froze things. The shower was great and a nice size but could be temperamental as it would go cold all of a sudden but not for long.

+Perfect in every way! We loved our stay here: it's such a peaceful and scenic spot, and felt very private, with only skylarks and horses for neighbours. The cabin is exceptionally well designed, with everything you need for a winter or summer stay carefully included. Gary was super helpful too :) Highly recommended.
