«Comfortable, great facilities and location, more attention to cleanliness, replace the sofa!!!!»
+We were late and keys were left for us at reception however the check in/check out location is at a hotel around the corner a few mins walk so not inconvenient just disjointed
−The general cleanliness lets the property down. Bedding and linens were clean and bed comfortable however carpets and the sofa are quite stained and off putting. I feel the cleaners are letting the hosts down - I noted in a review from several years ago commenting about children’s greasy handprints on the wall - it is still there years later! The bathroom requires a more detailed clean but everything is in good working condition, no hand towel provided only bath mat and bath sheet, very nice touch with toiletries being provided. The sofa should be replaced altogether as it is very uncomfortable. Otherwise the facilities are great, the kitchen has every appliance required and is well stocked with crockery and cutlery and washing up liquid and dishwasher tablet. No paper towel is provided, and no extra bin bags. Parking is ample we had no issues getting a spot over three nights even when occupancy at the property was high. Location is wonderful. A good experience overall, cleanliness let’s the property down and the price seems a bit steep for self catering and not providing some extra basics like paper towel.

−First floor bedrooms don’t have privacy screens for seat night, so we couldn’t open windows without opening the blinds. Anyone walking by could look into the room. Also, the parking lot light right next to one bedroom made it very bright at night.

+We were in appartment 1, located on the ground floor. Comfortable large appartment; located very close to the sea front. Well equipped kitchen (although a few more plates would be useful) and convenient shared garden. Key recovery very easy at hotel located a few hundred meters away from the appartment itself.
−One escape light for the building is strangely located inside the appartment and is very strong : sleeping can be difficult in one room due to light.

+Receiving a prompt refund As we were not allowed in as they had double booked us even though we had paid 3 months in advance! And phoned a week before for access information

+Spacious appartment. Location good. Fairly modern inside.
−Smell of damp. Front door handle broken. Ground floor apartment so everyone can see in through the windows when the blinds are up.. Windows need either privacy sheer roller blinds or privacy film for the glass... it would make a huge difference as nobody needs to have the blinds down during the daytime. The parking situation is not good and its only May. Whats worse is it seems you send people round from your hotel to use our parking! The bays are too tight. Cars these days are too big for them. For our 4 night stay we used the car park twice but only for a few hrs in the morning so as to not get a ticket in the nearby roads so we had to set an early morning alarm just to move the car. Both bedrooms are overlooked by the neighbours or the car park. The picture on Booking.com looked great but the building needs a lick of paint at least. The write up about what's included in the stay isn't accurate or explained tbh as it lists things that arent at the apartments... the jacuzzi and hot tub for example are not included and nor is there a bar on the ground floor?? clearly this only relates to the hotel but isn't explained. Other than that it was good enough for what we needed.

«Great Location»
+Location is great for the high street, beach and train stations.
−Parking was difficult due to lengthy cars making it impossible to pass / turn sufficiently. Gaps in doors caused drafts in the living area. With being the ground floor the main bedroom was in full view of the side path and road as there were no net curtains.

+It was very nice and clean - spacious. Nice breakfast. Good location in centre of town.
−Unfortunately, they double booked so we ended up with a one bedroom apartment rather than two. They did offer breakfast and late check out to apologise. We made this work but I would have preferred the two bedroom apartment originally booked which was more expensive and much larger.
