«Won’t come again. Location is good for hike, but the flat is dirty.»
−We chose this accommodation again because we had such a wonderful experience during our previous stay. Unfortunately, this time it was quite disappointing. When we arrived, there was no proper hot water. After messaging the host, the hot water “magically” became available. We sincerely hope that the valve had not intentionally been left half-closed, as that would not be a very welcoming gesture toward guests. The apartment was also generally not very clean. Glasses and dishes were not properly washed. Guests are asked to run the dishwasher before leaving, but no dishwasher tablets are provided, meaning that dishes are often rinsed with water only. Another surprising detail was that there were only three forks in the entire apartment, which means you have to wash them after nearly every meal :) The location is excellent, and Ebringen is a lovely place for relaxation and hiking. However, the property needs more care and attention, and guests deserve to be treated with greater consideration and respect. Sadly, after this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

«Spacious, comfortable, well-lit, well-stocked, easily accessed, well-located flat w/ some road noise»
+The flat was easy to access, clean, and precisely as pictured. It's only a few minutes from the bus stop, a 20 minute walk to the grocery market, and an easy commute by car or public transit to Freiburg. There is beautiful wood paneling throughout, it is very spacious, full of natural light, and very private with beautiful views overlooking greenery. The bed with foam mattress was very comfortable, pillows were well filled, and the shower was plenty hot with excellent water pressure. There is even a dish washer in the kitchen, and the cabinets are well supplied. The host is, additionally, responsive and accommodating.
−People with sound sensitivity should be aware that there is a somewhat noisy road that runs behind the property, despite the residential location. With the windows shut it is not too noticeable, but in warmer weather or when you want to sit out on the patio, it is something to consider.
