«Historic building dating back to 1815 in the heart of Cupar. Converted to modern standards.»
+Historic building dating back to 1815 in the heart of Cupar. Converted to modern standards whilst respecting the history. There's a fair few level of stairs with the property starting on the 1st floor and then a couple of flights of stairs to the bedrooms. Comfy stay with a very spacious and high ceiling lounge.

«Very nice accommodation with odd quirks. Older people with creaky hips and knees would struggle!»
+Beautiful building, tastefully decorated
−I may have missed this on the description but we had not expected so many steep stairs. It was inconvenient not to have a toilet on the same level as the sitting room and if there had been people sleeping on the living room bed-settee they would have had to use the en-suite facilities in someone else's room. Finally our bedroom looked over the main street which on the Friday night was extremely noisy and we could not sleep for traffic and revellers noise. Appreciate it's an old building which can't have double-glazing but it really was very loud.

+Spacious, the beds, cleanliness other than blue room bed.
−No toilet on lower floor, oven was dirty. Dust on blue room bed headboard.

«Central location.»
+Interesting restored building in the centre of town. Comfortable sofas and beds.
−There are a lot of stairs. This is mentioned in the listing but did not expect so many. 19 up to the lounge/kitchen then 28 to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Take your own dishwasher tablets, body wash/lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Dishwasher door is broken. Kitchen worktop is very high, and undercounter lights are also too high so shine in you eyes. Being town centre there is traffic noise, can keep you away of you are a light sleeper. There is no spare key and easy to lock yourself out.
