„Very dated hotel with no soundproofing“
+The view to the Pyramids is the only positive side of the hotel
−First, the hotel and facilities are EXTREMELY dated. Second, on Fridays and Saturdays they have weddings in the main restaurant from 5 till 11 pm meaning that a) you cannot have dinner at the restaurant with a view (technically you can, it is not forbidden, but the music is SO loud you can hear yourself when speaking), b) you cannot sleep at all until 23 as the rooms are not soundproof and the music in your room is at a level of a night club (not in one particular room but at most rooms of the hotel). Third, the food is mediocre. To sum up, the hotel is never ever worth ~$1000 per night. Normal price for what you get might be some $200-300/night. Having stayed at lots of hotels at $1000/night, I can state this with certainty.

„Aufmerksamst“

„Unforgettable pyramid views and warm staff; pricey food, but I'd gladly return.“
+Staying at the Marriott Mena House was a highlight of my Cairo trip. Waking up to a view of the Great Pyramid felt unreal, and the hotel’s palace-style architecture gives it real charm. The room was comfortable and clean, the gardens and pool were a peaceful escape after sightseeing, and the staff were warm and helpful throughout. Breakfast on the terrace with that view made every morning special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Giza. I’d happily stay again.
−As not all rooms have a view of the pyramids, it is worth confirming this when booking. However, staff may suggest an upgrade if one is available during check-in.

„Bello ma che peccato la confusione.“
+Posizione fantastica Camerieri confusionari.

„An Unforgettable Stay with a View of the Pyramids“
+A unique location with breathtaking views of the Pyramids of Giza. Beautiful, impeccably maintained gardens, an impressive atmosphere, and a wonderful sense of history and luxury. Dining with a view of the pyramids is a truly unforgettable experience. An excellent choice for a stay in Cairo.
−During our stay, a large private event with music was held in the hotel gardens, which somewhat disturbed the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

„Exceptional stay, at a premium hotel overlooking the pyramids“
+Super easy access to the pyramids. 5 min ride in a golf cart. Also very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Very nice pool area with friendly staff serving free snacks to the drinks. The evening view over the pyramids, having a cocktail at the 139 Pavillion restaurant, is hard to beat, as well as having breakfast overlooking the pyramids. Hotel area is very clean and well maintained. All plantations are beautiful and well kept with plenty of flowers.
−Cant really think of anything....

„Magnificent location, historical hotel“
+The location and history of the hotel
−Feel needs to get back some of its old history and atmosphere. At the end disappointed with baggage storage and having to hunt for a missing bag

„Hard to resist given the views of the pyramids“
+Great location
−The food was not nearly as good as was last time we stayed particularly at the India restaurant. The hotel needs a bigger and more atmospheric bar .

„It’s good but not exceptional“
+The proximity to the pyramids & the GEM and the feeling of calm and seclusion outside of a very busy area.
−Whilst the views are great - some events during the stay do impede that view sometimes. The hotel feels a little dated and a bit overpriced for what you get:
