+Beautiful location and the chalet we stayed in was amazing.

„Super schöne Aussicht“

−Jeden Tag gibt es das gleiche kleine Menü zur Auswahl und wenn man Abwechslung möchte, zahlt man für besondere Gerichte einen nicht gerade kleinen Betrag extra, obwohl man Halbpension gebucht hat.

„Un moment hors du temps“
+La vue est à couper le souffle, nous avions une vue panoramique sur la mer, le Morne et l'Ile aux Bénitiers depuis notre logement. Le cadre est vraiment le point fort du chalet. Le personnel est très agréable et les repas aux restaurants sont très bons, toujours dans un décor paradisiaque, hors du temps.
−Nous avons été surpris par plusieurs détails au vu du prix de la chambre. L'échelle de notre piscine était cassée, le robinet de la baignoire mal fixé également. Nous étions collés à un autre logement avec uniquement une porte communicante fermée pour nous séparer de l'autre couple... nous attendions plus d'intimité en réservant "un chalet". Beaucoup de détails sont à revoir pour un établissement de ce standing.

„Wasn’t good at all! Terrible and a nightmare“
+Nothing except the view
−We booked a Deluxe Sea View room for our honeymoon, but when we arrived, we were given a completely different room. What was presented as an “upgrade” turned out to be a room within a Senior Suite, apparently divided into three separate rooms with connecting doors. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent,we could hear every conversation, sneeze, and even the smallest squeak. I immediately told reception that this was not the room we had booked and asked to be moved to the correct one. We were told they would look into it and might move us the following day. Instead, we spent two nights there and only received our booked room for the final night of our three-night stay. The room was dirty and very poorly maintained. There was a persistent puddle at the entrance that nobody cleaned up, leaving mud outside and tracking it into the room. I felt so uncomfortable with the cleanliness that I wore long clothes to bed and wiped down the bed and bedding with the alcohol pads I had brought. We barely slept on the first night. It was so unpleasant that we started looking for alternative accommodation that very night. To make matters worse, the shower water was ice-cold. I managed to show

„komfortabel, entspannend und erholsam mit einer traumhaften Aussicht“
+Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Am Abend gibt es eine große Auswahl an Gerichten. Die Gerichte ohne Preisangabe sind in der Halbpension erhalten, die Gerichte mit Preisangabe sind zu zahlen. Die Chalets sind sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und haben eine traumhafte Aussicht.

„Séjour parfait“
+Nous avons eu la sensation d’être dans une bulle durant notre séjour, le personnel est merveilleux, le restaurant est très bon et le cadre magnifique

+Die Aussicht und das geräumige Chalet.
−Das Chalet war sehr oberflächlich „sauber“ also nicht wirklich gut gereinigt. Das Lavabo und der Wasserhahn wie auch die Dusche war wie nicht mit Putzmittel geputzt. Eher einfach sehr fleckig und eingetrocknet. Es hat zwar alles gut gerochen, aber auch manchmal fast bisschen zu viel nach künstlichem Duftspray.

+The location is beautiful with breathtaking views. The Chalets are spacious and set apart from each other. THe grounds are well maintained. The staff were polite and the food was good. It was nice to be able to walk to the Ebony Forest.
−The hotel needs some work to take it from good to exceptional - which it has the potential to be. There were a number of little things, mainly in the chalets which let them down, such as: the plug in the sink didn't work there were marks on the walls were holes had been filled and not painted over the curtains had come off their hooks the door to the chalet was very stiff and needed a kick to close it the TV kept coming on by itself and we had to find the switch at the back (in amongst the dust) to turn it off the housekeeping generally was not a great standard. All in all, a shame as this should be a really fabulous place, and with just a bit more attention to detail it could be one!
