+Afroditi was an awesome place to stay! The location was absolutely perfect, and the owner is truly one of a kind. Such a great guy friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring about his guests. He made our stay even more special. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again!

«Nice stay, lovely owner but the flies in the bathroom was not a good experience.»
+Yannis the owner is very responsive and helpful. My flight was delayed and I arrived very late to the hotel but he made sure to hang around so he could greet me and check me in. During my stay he helped me with getting around locally and advising me on what to do. When it was time to leave he gave me lots of souvenirs and he also kindly paid for my taxi to take me to the bus station when I was leaving to go to chania airport. The bed was very comfy, and there was room service every day with fresh towels and slippers, and lots of water bottles. The owner will go above and beyond.
−There were flies in the bathroom and the kitchen area which were clearly coming from the drains. There were also some dead flies on the bathroom floor. I did mention this to Yannis and he ended up giving me fly spray to spray, but unfortunately they still kept on coming. I don’t know if it was this particular room that there were flies in. This did really put me off using the bathroom as every time I would go in the shower they would be in the shower cubicle and on the walls in the bathroom. It was a fly battle every day with me arming my self every day with a fly spray !!!!

+Zentral gelegen, groß, sehr freundliches Personal bzw. Besitzer, alles da was man braucht
−Das ausgeklappte Sofa war zum Schlafen ziemlich unbequem, sehr hart. Das Obst im Kühlschrank war leider nicht mehr frisch

«Heerlijk verblijf in het geweldige Rethymnon»
+De Locatie was echt super en de eigenaar deed alles om het naar je zin proberen te maken. Ook het schoonmakend personeel was heel voorkomend en service gericht. Super schoon, koelkast steeds bijgevuld met fruit, water en sap. We kregen zelfs een badhanddoek en parasol mee toen we naar het strand gingen !

+Great location and super helpful host (came with me to show me the carparking whic was covered by the accomodation). . Apartment was very well equiped and surprisingly quiet considering the central location. It is a little dated (and brown), but this is part of the charm and makes a nice change from the 'ikea' style of most places

−Car parking issues but they are more than adequately managed by Iannou’s offers of parking permits, advice on alternative spots during the day (when his closest car park is the Thursday Narket (until 4pm).

«Etablissement à recommander chaudement»
+L'accueil du responsable de l'établissement Afroditi était très chaleureux et attentionné. Toujours prêt à rendre service, ce charmant monsieur nous a donné d'excellents conseils de visite touristique ainsi qu'un plan de ville où étaient notés les sites les plus importants et les restaurants qu'il conseillait. Notre appartement, très spacieux, composé d'une salle à manger, d'une chambre, d'une cuisine et d'une salle de bains se trouvait dans un très bel immeuble ancien (où était le consulat français avant les années 1950). La décoration était très belle avec, en particulier, des sols recouverts de très élégants carrelages. Les fenêtres donnaient sur le port et la mer. La cuisine était correctement aménagée, permettant de faire des repas simples. Notre séjour a été un peu gâché par le très mauvais temps qui sévissait sur le nord de la crête mais nous avons pu quand même profiter de belles promenades dans Réthymnon qui est une très belle ville. La visite de la forteresse vaut le détour ! La grande plage de sable fin est très bien aménagée mais il était difficile d'en dire plus étant donné le très mauvais temps qui empêchait d'y rester longtemps.
