“2 night stay in Bacalar”
+We loved the proximity to the water and super friendly receptionist Adrian
−The facilities looked a bit tired and could do with a refresh. The pillows were uncomfortable

+The location of the accommodation is perfect. I didn't get a room with a hammock, but I really didn't need one. The bad weather made the stay a little worse, but overall it's probably a perfect location for a few days of relaxing.
−I paid the most for this hotel on my trip to Mexico, but apart from the good location and the neat exterior, it wasn't anything special. The staff doesn't speak English, and at breakfast I felt like I had to wash the dishes myself because I didn't have anyone to ask. When I wanted to get a kayak, I simply got a catalog from the surrounding agencies, even though I saw free boats near the location.

“State alla larga.”
