“I can’t wait to go back! Two nights was not enough”
+An absolutely amazing experience to stay in there. You really get to experience the way it was and the beauty of the gold rush days.
−Not a thing. I even had a shared bathroom and still loved it. This is the experience and to dislike the way it works is to not fully appreciate the old times.

+We loved the attention to detail, you really feel like you are traveling back in time. Ria is lovely host and prepares a great breakfast. Staying right in the middle of Barkerville also has the advantage that you can still enjoy the town when most if the tourists have left for the day. All in all, a highly recommended experience!

+The Breakfast had lots of variety and was different both days. Was also accommodating to food sensitivities Very friendly, helpful staff. Loved that we had access to water and coffee during the day and a place to rest if needed.
−The beds were a little hard for our liking

“I say it’s a must. If you are goong to Barksville you have to stay at the St. George”
+I loved staying right in the centre of it all in Barkerville. It was super clean and the included breakfast was awesome, coffee and tea all day long.
−I would prefer to have my own bathroom but the shared bathroom worked just fine. It was always clean and only shared with 1 or 2 more rooms.
