+Location is great, and having parking in Rye is a real plus. BUT ….. - no longer offering evening meal - a real downer for me - smell of bleach / cleaning products in bedroom and hall areas was unpleasant - poor TV reception. Kept going on and off. And when I asked at reception about this the staff member came 3 hrs later.

+The River Haven is in a great position by the river, and a short walk to the beautiful historical area of Rye. There is plenty of parking. The staff are very friendly, and breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choice.

+When we arrived we were given a room that was not been serviced. +About 5 minutes walk from Rye old town, markets, shops and restaurants. Hotel, although a little jaded round the edges decoration wise, was lovely and clean and comfortable. Bedrooms were a good size, comfortable beds and pillows and bathrooms very clean. All public areas were clean and tidy. Staff were very pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. Good bar with an area outside with seating overlooking the river. And, breakfast was wonderful and many options. Would stay here again if down in Rye overnight.
