“A place to put your head. Close to the Pinewood shopping centre.”
+Just a convenient place to stay. We used to visit this motel and the restaurant in the 1970’s Most of the furniture is the same including the beds.
−Service from the old dude was terrible and offered actually no service he didn’t listen to our request for a downstairs apartment and just grunted when he handed the keys.

+Great shower. Staff were super helpful and TV was replaced within minutes of issue being reported.
−Bed was way too soft. Curtains had to be held closed with clips. Fridge leaked

“Good value, quirky suburban stay, comfy bed, basic features in a 70s retro establishment.”
+Quiet, comfy bed, TV worked. Really liked it that staff rang me to see if I was running late (I was) so they arranged AH check in. The AH check in gentleman was a real character too. I also loved the character of the establishment - welcome back to the 70s!
−Could hardly fit into shower and little room in toilet. Yes, I am fat but not THAT fat. My car park was covered by neighbouring foliage but as I had, by chance, pruners in my car, that problem was soon solved, but it was awkward getting out of the car first time - prune your trees!

+Nice hot shower, clean sheets, good size room, good parking.
−Wifi didn’t work and reception not available to troubleshoot Felt run down - blanket looked dirty and dirt in cupboards and drawers. Lamp didn’t work. Heating control display hard to see.
