“Girls at the desk need some customer service training.”
+The bed was comfortable, wish it was a little softer. The breakfast buffet was good. I liked the 50” tv and that they gave us access to hbo streaming app and other ones too. Was in a quiet room. Nice view
−Room was very out dated. It needs upgrading. Theres an old alarm clock in there, old head boards. It was very dusty in there, it seemed like it was coming out of the heater/AC unit. I’m allergic to dust and I woke up every morning with a headache, red, dry eyes. Also the room wasn’t wiped down all the way. There was dust on top of the headboard, Gunk behind the bathroom sink handles (I always wipe everything down when I come into a hotel bc you never know what was actually cleaned.) Inside the mini fridge there was gunk, stains on the couch. The room was just dingy looking. Prices for a water was $4. We bought a few things in the little pantry store they had like milk for the coffee and cereal (a small cup of it) and a few other things; it came out to be 40$ it was ridiculous. Oh ya and the best part: they charge you 10$ per day for parking when they have a huge parking lot. That should have been worked into the price of the room which was about 200$ a night. I didn’t understand why they charged for when it’s their parking lot, it’s not like they are renting out a parking lot in a separate lot and they didn’t run out of space. I didn’t like that especially when they didn’t have oth

“Stay away from this hotel”
+The bed was moderately comfortable.
−The hotel is inn the middle of no where. They charge you $3 per bottle of water in the room which its just pure leaf and not worth $3. They claim they have complimentary breakfast (they dont), the breakfast buffet is $18 per person. The pool closes at 8:45 PM so we couldn't even use it. They dont even have coffee in the lobby, and the Starbucks closes at 10AM. Also haven't even gotten to the room yet, but there was a massive hole in the curtain, the lights are falling off of the wall, the wallpaper is bubbled and coming off the walls, the two working elevators making very concerning noises and the doors slam shut so hard they bounce apart, and the room didnt even look clean. I paid $376 dollars for a night for a very bad experience so I dont recommend coming to this hotel.

“I was happy with the hotel all in all.”
+I only had oatmeal. Little pricey @ $8.00.
−No water glasses in the bathroom to rinse mouth after brushing teeth. Room little outdated compared to others I’ve stayed at around the date.

“Terrible stay. No issues were resolved after every thing was reported.”
+Location is great. We have stayed here many times.
−The shower was VERY dirty upon arrival. Was brought to staff’s attention and it was cleaned but when we tried to use the shower it backed up within seconds(probably why it was dirty when we arrived). They pulled the floor drain up and said the problem was fixed and was not. The toilet was also constantly running so my kids and I were unable to use it when we needed it. We had to leave early and didn’t stay our full booking.

+The pool/jacuzzi was nice
−The room was not completely clean. We had to put new toilet paper because the one on the roll was wet, the lamp had stains on it and some of the other lamps where messed up. In between the wall and one of the beds was like party string.

“Excellent place to stay”
+We spent a couple of nights at the Doubletree North Shore at the tail end of a two-week trip and were extremely happy with the accommodation. Extra large (and extra comfy) bed, spacious room, spotlessly clean room and bathroom, large flatscreen TV, plenty of electrical outlets and lots of space in cupboards. Basically everything we needed (oh, and delicious chocolate chip cookies that were the proverbial icing on the cake).
